The TapTone 4000-DSC - Dual Sensor Compression (DSC) system is designed to inspect a wide variety of flexible containers for micro leaks. The design incorporates our patented dual sensor technology and high speed compression belts for improved accuracy and container handling. The system was designed for harsh, wet environments, like those found in the dairy industry. When combined with the optional X-ray sensor, the system can also perform fill level inspection.
X-ray Technology - measures the product fill level in steel, aluminum, glass, plastic and paper containers. An X-ray tube is used to produce a low-energy X-ray beam. The X-ray beam penetrates the side of the container in the area of the fill level. An X-ray detector is positioned on the opposite side of the container to measure the intensity of the beam after it goes through the container. The intensity of the beam is then compared to acceptable energy levels to determine the relative fill level of each container. The X-ray sensor is used to measure both overfilled and under filled products in all types of containers.

Features:
Eliminates Damage to Embossing Rolls
Monitors the entire width of the embossed web as it leaves the embossing rolls
Alarm signal can alert operator, automatically shear the paper ahead of the embossing roll or automatically stop the machine
Uses up to three pairs (transmitter/receiver) of MICROSONIC® ultrasonic thru-beam sensors
Microsonic® Thru-Beam Web Sensing System
Web inspecting applications
This innovative sensing solution is applicable to industries that convert plies of materials into embossed napkins, paper towels, plastic-lined paper table cloths and other consumer products. The Model SS100 Web Sensing System uses MICROSONIC®, thru-beam sensors to eliminate the costly problem of broken plies wrapping around, heating up and damaging embossing rolls, as well as the resulting downtime required to make necessary repairs. False trips or no trips at all resulting from dusty environments, or problems associated with sensors not immune to changing colors and materials, are also eliminated.

Minisonic ISD detects the changes of products in a pipeline by measuring the speed of sound. The speed of sound is a precise specification of the product and has a correlation to density or concentration.
Minisonic ISD is also a detector of the passage of pigs and spheres in a pipeline by the analysis of the acoustic signal.
The measurement of the speed of sound depends on the temperature and pressure conditions, so it is necessary to use a numeric corrector to obtain the real measurements.
The Minisonic ISD is available in a standard or explosion proof model.

The Series 4000 Capacitec® amplifiers and racks were designed to offer the best signal to noise ratio and wide band width response options in a simple modular package. The 4000 Series was built upon our 20 year proven foundation of 3000 Series amplifiers (3101-SP, 3200, 3201-SP) still in operation. Utilization of individual pins in a 32 pin DIN connector increases reliability for more industrial applications where vibrations are present. The small Euro-style 2U size boards have appeal for small portable packaging as well as high (but lightweight) density applications. When coupled with Capacitec® non-contact displacement probes, they produce a linear output voltage proportional to the gap spacing between the probe and a ground plane. The systems are designed to produce stable and reliable operation with excellent gain and zero shift stability with respect to changes in ambient temperature. Stability is achieved with a digitally derived sine-wave oscillator, having a crystal clock as the frequency reference.

Fast accurate diagnosis through the ULTRAPROBE 2000 System will dramatically reduce unplanned down time and shorten planned outage time.
The ULTRAPROBE provides data acquisition through three modes: through auditory channels (via a headset that has been specifically selected for heavy duty industrial use), through a uniquely designed bi-modal analog meter, and through the ability to switch to auxiliary interfacing for chart recorders (optional), vibration data collectors, spectrum analyzers, DAT & standard audio recorder.

Adhesive application my be as reliable as possible, but various companies and their customers require a proof, which products are erroneous, and moreover what percentage of the lot is.
Depending on application area, type of glue or its form there are different ways to check glue. Baumer hhs has an option for each application.
Cold Glue Sensors: Directly after application they detect, whether and where glue dots or lines can be found. If glue is alrady dried up, it is assumed not there.
Side Seam Sensors: Not only check if glue is there, but also its quantity. They are used to rate the gluing results from wheel pots.
Flow Rate Sensors: Built within the hose directly before the gun, they check whether glue has flown. This process is needed, when glue can not be seen after its application, for example in bore holes for dowels.

GLUE DETECTOR CIA SERIES
It was specially designed to check automatic high speed gluing lines. The device detects each drop of glue and checks its continuity; moreover it indicates any possible anomaly in real time. It perfectly complements any existing dosing system because it is a completely autonomous device that is able to reduce production scraps almost to zero. The detection process is the passive infrared one: an innovative sensor is able to detect the infrared rays emitted by the drop of glue in real time, when available, with a detection time lower than one thousandth of a second. A powerful microprocessor makes sure glue detection, glue deliveries and alarm signals are properly synchronized thanks to the machine encoder and/or the quartz chronometer. This process is completely automatic even on variable speed lines. The device manages an instantaneous and a proportional alarm level and a practical piece-counter function. The optical measuring head is equipped with an air-operated cleaning system, so that it maintenance operations are not necessary even in very dusty environments. CIA Series Glue detector main topics are: real time detection of every deposited glue dot by infrared; real time signalling and report of every anomalies; complete control from microprocessor; full integration and compatibility with every existing dosing system; reduction to “ZERO” of production scraps; Installation completely independent; maximum flexibility with instantaneous and per cent alarm signals; optical head with pointing system fully automatic; auto-cleaning air system for dusty environment.

Miniature CCD/CMOS lenses are designed to provide optimal image performance for a variety of applications using CCD/CMOS imaging sensors. Typical consumer product applications include: digital cameras, PC cameras, cell phone and PDA cameras, security cameras, etc. Typical industrial applications include: inspection, bio-metric security, scanning, bar-code reading, etc.
Sunex CCD/CMOS lenses are mostly multi-element designs that are computer optimized to provide the optimal trade-offs between various performance parameters and cost. We use plastic, glass and glass/plastic hybrid elements depending on the performance and environmental requirement. Glass lenses, in general, provides higher image quality and are more stable environmentally than plastic or hybrid lenses.
Lenses are available for 3-5 Megapixel, 2 Megapixel, 1.3 Megapixel, and VGA type sensors.
