Low Frequency (LF) RFID (125 kHz) LF has a long history (20 years) of being used in industrial environments, as well as in animal tracking/tagging applications.
Escort Memory Systems offers the RS line of LF Read-Only Radio frequency identification readers and ES Tags. This rugged line has been used for years by industries such as textile manufacturing, automotive and more.
Tags can be pre programmed with specific IDs based on customer requirements. Once in place these systems have the reputation of needing very little maintenance and they consistently perform in industrial conditions.

Advanced digital signal processing techniques allow data transmission speed of 3,000 bytes per second while industrial still using reliable, safe, low frequency RF. Escort Memory Systems' Tags are the only low-frequency RF Tags on the market with such high speed data transfer capability.
The HS232X Tag incorporates from 32 KB of fast, random-access memory and is epoxy encapsulated to withstand the harshest industrial environments. Advanced digital signal processing techniques allow data transmission speeds of 3,000 bytes per second and can transfer up to 800 million bytes of data, without the need for battery replacement. Escort Memory Systems' Tags are the only low-frequency RF Tags on the market with such high speed data transfer capability. The six inch Read/Write range of the HS232XL makes it ideal for use in pallet based automated systems. Once the Tag is mounted, the pallet becomes "intelligent," and can carry with it all information regarding the product or material on the pallet.
The HS232LR Tag offers up to 31 inches of long range identification capabilities when used with the HS510 Professional antenna. EMS offers free Dashboard software to our users. The Dashboard gives direct access into and visibilityof RFID read/write operations at the individual controller level. The TCP/IP version will access all the RFID stations connected via Subnet16 to one Professional gateway. The Serial dashboard interfaces to one RFID controller via a PC's serial communications port.
