Minisonic ISD detects the changes of products in a pipeline by measuring the speed of sound. The speed of sound is a precise specification of the product and has a correlation to density or concentration.
Minisonic ISD is also a detector of the passage of pigs and spheres in a pipeline by the analysis of the acoustic signal.
The measurement of the speed of sound depends on the temperature and pressure conditions, so it is necessary to use a numeric corrector to obtain the real measurements.
The Minisonic ISD is available in a standard or explosion proof model.

STEREO-HEAT® Impedance Heat Tracing is a direct current electric traced system across the ends of a steel or alloy pipeline section that provides even heat distribution on short to medium runs of preinsulated pipe.
STEREO-HEAT® Impedance Heat Tracing is based on the application of AC voltage across the ends of an insulated pipeline section on short and medium runs of pipe causing a current flow in the pipe walls that generates heat. This is an engineered custom designed system within ANSI/IEEE 844, NEC 426,427 and your specification requirements. This system can be retrofitted onto an existing pipe system or as part of a preinsulated PERMA-PIPE® system. Applications such as liquid food products, oil, asphalt, resins, napthalene, Urea, food oils are just a few systems that utilize STEREO-HEAT® tracing.

At ECAS, we manufacture heating cables and flexible electric elements, for temperature control systems in networks of pipes.
The main purpose of pipe tracing is to avoid and compensate for the loss of heat certain fluids undergo during particular production processes.
Of utmost importance is that the fluid or product flowing in the pipes does not freeze, change viscosity, or harm the piping network.
For sanitary hot water systems, our pipe tracing system avoids the cooling of the water, especially when it is not moving, avoiding the spread of Legionnaire disease.
Heating cable:
For pipe tracing projects we recommend constant power parallel heating cable, model CTCS.
The parallel heating cable has a constant lineal wattage even when it is cut to required length.
Control and regulating :
We have different types of control and temperature regulating solutions, which are adaptable to all kinds of projects, and/or the needs of our customers.
Below are some of the control systems:
DPA: Control and regulation box to connect between 1 and 4 circuits, from 8A to 63A at 230V.
EWDR 902 - T: Digital Thermometer/Thermostat.
ETV - 1991- P: DIN/Omega rail electronic modular analogue thermostat.
ETN - 2P - 1441: DIN/Omega rail electronic modular analogue thermostat with mini-switchboard.

Application Pontencial:
Submersible heaters, containers, valves, pumps, form, process and plate heaters.
This mineral-insulated heating cable with a braiding of high grade stell 14541 is applicable within extreme corrosive and damp surroundings. The HIL heating cable is extremely robust and easy to bend. The stainless stell brainding is waterlight, oiltight and gastight. An utilisation temperature of up to 800°C enables a variety of applications. The cold end of the heating cable can be fed into a terminal box and connected by means of a MX20X1.5 screwed connection.

The heating sleeve is a special physical form that can be adapted to the specifications of tubes and cartridge. Conventional dimensions as well as special shapes for one or more casks can be realised. The finished heater consist of a heated inside tube, thermal insulation and an outer jacket. Theses are available in a diverse array of high- quality materials that can be selected to match the application. The compact design with self-regulating PTC heating elements or standard heaters with integrated regulation guarantee optimal functionality and the highest level of safety.

HEATED HOSES - for gas and liquid transfer.
During Gas Analyzer Sampling, Hot Melt Transfer, Petroleum or Chemical Transfers, or Food Processing, it is needed to maintain critical temperatures, to avoid condensation of gas or drop in fluid temperature. Thermo Heated Hoses aptly cater to this need, by ensuring that the fluid in the process tube (part of the heated hose), looses no heat.
These flexible and lightweight tubes can withstand aggressive high pressure fluids and high temperatures involved in transfer of fluids.
Construction
Heated Hose comprises of a process tube bundled with insulated electrical heating element and wrapped with a heat reflecting foil. Temperature sensor is provided at about 300 mm from power connection end. This bundle is insulated and provided with an outer jacket. Ends are sealed suitably and electrical connections for both power and control are brought out.
