Its monobloc manufacture allows protection up to IP66 with a maximum resistance of IK10 complying with EN-60529 and EN-50102 standards and Nema 4x by UL. A drainage channel prevents any liquid contact with the polyurethene joint or hidden hinges.

Junction boxes are intended for a special - typically swiss - installation technique. It consists in establishing branchings from laid through conductors. The involved material are a baseplate fitted with branching terminals and a cover.
Further junction boxes of thermoplastic, polyester or thermosetting material are available for the same type of application.

SERIES CUBIK
SCAME proposes with series CUBIK, two new ranges of distribution enclosures for electrical installations. They are available in 6 different dimensions. Made out of thermoplastic without halogen, shock-proof and self-extinguishing, the boxes of series CUBIK lend themselves particularly to the use for derivations in tight electrical installations of outside and for housing of small apparatuses.
The technical main features of this series are the following ones: index of industrial protector IP55, possible use between -25° and +60°C, of color gray RAL7035, possibility of writing on the interior part of the lid to allow the simpler identification of the circuits, lid with pressure or closing by means of 4 screws 1/4 of supplier of lathe. All the lids are unlosable thanks to a provided bond which links base and lid (gone up out of standard). And finally, all the versions are equipped with plugs for complete insulation. |

Protection degree is IP65 according to EN50298 NEMA for single door, IP55 for double door.
Four or six studs are welded inside the boxes (with the exception of 150mm depth enclosure), allowing the mounting of both an inner door, a modular chassis, a rack frame or the mounting plate adjustement system.
All the accessories are supplied separately so that to increase flexibility and optimizing finished products inventory. |

Terminal cabinets of all sizes and design types provide high dust and water ingress protection at and around cable clamps and other connections. Access protection is designed to ensure electrical and mechanical safety as mandated by the VDE.
