These versatile valves are designed for a wide range of gravity flow applications. All share the same one-piece cast housings and heavy duty components that ensure reliable low maintenance operation for many years. Slides are sealed internally by a replaceable polyurethane or steel wiper ring. The end of the slide plate is sealed with an adjustable packing gland. Between the two seals is a wiper blade that ensures long seal life. Both the inlet and outlet flanges are drilled and tapped with identical patterns to simplify installation. A range of actuators is available to accommodate most applications.

Integral-passage slide valves are suitable for all those uses where perfect tightness has to be assured both to material (VLPM/ VLPC/VLPP) and pressure (VLRM/VLRC/VLRP) even in the presence of high temperature and with abrasive products.
They are used for powders and granules under silos, hoppers, batchers and screw conveyors.

- Valves are suitable for tightening between counterflanges UNI-PN 10 or ANSI 150 lb.
- Interior tightness is assured by a toroidal gasket acting on the blade in closed position ((VLRM/VLRC/VLRP).
- Tightness towards the outside is assured by an adjustable packing gland system.
- The manual valve control is achieved by a handwheel (VLPM/VLRM) and by a pulley with chain (VLPC/VLRC)
- The electropneumatic valve control is achieved by a double-effect cylinder activated by 1/4" Gas 5/2 single solenoid valve.
- Two proximity inductive limit-switches ø 18 are used to remote-indicate the blade position.
- Electropneumatic slide valves in special execution may be supplied with 3 positions for course / fine batching on balances.
- Electropneumatic slide valves are designed and manufactured in compliance with Community Regulations 89/392/EEC.

Shut-off valves for bulk materials must close trouble-free in
the flowing bulk material and in the product column. The

General description
These high conductance, stainless steel SS 304 fabricated valves are designed for reliability and for use as in-line chamber isolation valves and load lock applications. These Gate valves are fitted with Neoprene "O" rings as standard and optionally viton o "O" rings are offered. Viton sealed valves can be baked up to 150 deg.C under normal mode. These Gate valves undergo stringent leak detection tests on a Helium Mass Spectrometer for leak tightness up to 10-10 std cc/second. HINDHIVAC Gate Valves are offered in several models and can be operated in both electro pneumatic as well as manual modes..
Gate Valves are used immediately above the mouth of a diffusion pump or above the water-cooled baffles. The closure between the two sides is made by the movement of a horizontal plate in its own plane, the seal being an elastomeric. These valves are made in sizes of 1", 2", 4", 6", 8", 10", 20" sizes as a standard product.

Stainless steel cryogenic emergency shut off gate valve with bolted bonnet and integral pneumatic actuator. Fail safe and automatic operation. The valve is held open by pneumatic air pressure and closes automatically on air vent or the loss of the pneumatic air supply pressure, for whatever reason.
The bellows type pneumatic actuator includes a single convoluted air spring actuator of rubber connections with manual override.
The valve has a wedge seat design for tight shut off to seal on the downstream seat only in order to prevent liquid lock. The bolted bonnet allows for simple site maintenance, with easy access to the serviceable parts of the valve.
All valves are degreased for oxygen duty, assembled in clean room conditions and pressure tested prior to despatch.

T1 Vacuum Breaker Valve
The T1 Vacuum Breaker Valve is a one-way free ball slurry check valve. It is mounted on the high points in a slurry line to break the vacuum created on pump or power failure.
