The Wraptor system slashes the cost of wire and cable identification by combining the printing and application of labels in a single unit. Plus, the Wraptor printer/applicator offers both lower initial cost and significant operational advantages over any comparable alternative. In a single stroke, the Wraptor turns a series of labour-intensive, inefficient tasks into a modern automated process that saves time, saves materials, and saves money.

‘Becoil’ knitted mesh demisters.
In many industrial processes it is necessary to remove mist or spray droplets from air or gas streams in order to purify the gas, remove liquid which would contaminate the subsequent process, damage downstream equipment, constitute an undesirable atmospheric emission, or to recover a useful liquid product of the process.
'Becoil' Demisting Units are separators of the impingement type consisting of multiple layers of fabric knitted from metal or plastic monofilaments, crimped and than assembled so that the crimps cross in successive layers. Pads fabricated in this way have a very uniform voidage with an extremely high ratio of filament surface area per unit volume of pad.
Collected liquid in the mesh forms discrete droplets on the filaments which fall off as the force of gravity overcomes the combined forces of the rising gas and surface tension, which tend to hold the droplets to the filament.
'Becoil' Demisting Units have been specially designed to achieve highly efficiency removal - up to 100% on entrained droplets above 5 microns in size, while generating low pressure losses and are virtually maintenance free.

Stainless Steel Filter Elements:
Stainless steel filter elements are made up of several layers of 316 mesh that are sintered together to form an integrated porous element. The middle mesh is of very fine gauge and determines the filtration efficiency of the elements. This layer is then overlaid with inner and outer layers of coarser mesh, to give support and protection. The elements are a typical surface filter and the contaminants are retained on the surface of the filtration layer, this makes cleaning and back flushing a simple process. These filter elements should be ultrasonically cleaned to give best results. Stainless steel filter elements are particularly useful in heavily contaminated applications and for use as pre-filters before disposable
type final filters. Gaskets are required with stainless steel filter elements. The options are Viton, PTFE or high temperature annealed copper.

Pull-wire emergency stop switches are mounted on machines and sections of plants which cannot be protected by guards. In contrast to mushroom head Emergency Stop push buttons, on pull-wire switches the Emergency Stop command can be initiated from any point on the wire.
In combination with one of the AES and AZR range safety monitoring modules, see chapter 10.3, ZS range pull-wire emergency stop switches can be used for Control Category 3 or 4 to EN 954-1.
Design and mode of operation:
All of the pull-wire emergency stop switches conform to European Standard EN 418. They have a positive linkage between the NC contacts and the wire rope. The pull-wire emergency stop switches are brought into the operational condition by pre-tensioning the wire, i.e. the NC contacts are then closed and the NO contacts open.
Schmersal make both standard and AS-i Safety at Work pull-wire emergency stop switches.

Zumbach WST TEMPMASTER Wire Preheaters
Excellence in Inductive Wire Preheating: Extrusion lines producing communication wire require optimum and repeatable conditions in order to produce valuable product at the highest speeds. Inductive preheating is clean and reliable. The adhesion is improved, humidity and other residues are removed from the conductor of data transmission cables. Many insulating materials can not be extruded successfully without preheating of the conductor. Cellular insulating materials require a uniform conductor temperature in order to produce a uniform cell structure and accurate electrical properties.
Main Benefits of Wire Preheating:
-Better product quality and improved consistency
-Dielectric properties of the insulation material are more uniform and the process conditions are reproducible
-Improved cell structure for foamed and foam skin insulating material
-Higher line speeds are possible thanks to lower stress within the insulation material
-Shorter start-up times
-Control of the bonding of the insulation material to the conductor
-Uniform conductor temperature maintained even during ramping phases
-The aging characteristics of the insulation are improved substantially through better uniformity
-Oil and water residues on the conductor surface are cleaned away by evaporation
