Ceramic labels are useful in applications where more robust labels cannot withstand the extreme conditions. They tolerate temperatures up to 1400° C and are very resitant to acids and other aggressive chemicals.
Applications:
-manufacturing process of semi-conductors-,lenses or cd identification
-manufacturing process of tools and containers in high temperature areas
-manufacturing process in the aluminium and metal industry

Our High Tech-series offer VSM quality on the highest level. Due to the continuous self-sharpening the highest level of stock removal, an extra-long service life and hence an economical grinding are realised. At the same time they achieve an improved surface quality.
For applications involving the dry machining of stainless and high-temperature steels we recommend using TOP SIZE products. Their additional lubricating layer provides increased stock removal rates and significantly reduced temperature in the grinding zone, which prevents workpiece structural changes.
The VSM®CERAMICS series are special products for aggressive but cool grinding. The use of VSM®CERAMICS series lead to an increase in productivity with simultaneous improvement of surface quality and outstanding stock removal.

Careful selection and optimum processing of our raw materials make sure that technical needlemats from Frenzelit have consistently high insulation properties - whether they are supplied in reels, punched or cut into 3D and 2D shapes by water jets.
Our technical needlemats are used not only in the insulation field but also in many other areas. The product line chosen is determined according to the insulation capcity required and the application temperature.

Advanced Ceramic Technology is a recent term that
refers to a wide range of materials, which are
generally obtained from partition of inorganic raw
material –metal oxides-, and selected with a high
grade of purity. These materials are submitted to
shaping techniques of the powder metallurgy with a
following very high temperature sintering process
that leads to dense components, which high technical
performances offer a wide range of applications.
Thanks to their excellent properties, the Advanced
Ceramic Technology can be used in the making of
primary flow elements – with APLITEX as a pioneer.
At the present time, they are a key element in
processes that require:
• Extreme solidity.
• Stability at high temperatures.
• High resistance to corrosion.
• High resistance to chemical attacks.
• High resistance to vacuum.
• Long life.

The SPC98 dry and flush mounted ceramic pressure sensor uses an aluminum oxide ceramic sensor as a "dry cell" that is extremely resistant to overload, aggressive mediums, extreme min/max temperature, applications with solid particles and low pressure ranges. These transmitter's are made in either 316 S.S. or Hastelloy C and provide a 4-20mA output signal. The SPC98 is designed to be installed at the bottom of the tank.
FEATURES
*Loop powered, 4-20mA signal output
*Measuring ranges -1 to 580PSI (-1 to 40 bar) gauge /absolute
*Ideal for waste water or other applications with "dirty" medium
*Rugged and compact design- Body entirely 316 S.S. or Hasteloy C
*High accuracy, Excellent repeatability & Temperature compensated
*3A approved
The actual measuring range of the SPC98 sensor is determined by the thickness of the ceramic diaphragm, which if overloaded, stops on the ceramic substrate without sustaining damage. Ceramic cells do not expand and contract nearly as much as metal, ensuring good temperature stability. Common features of the SPC98 are low hysteresis, high repeatability, immunity to the effects of process builds up and outstanding resistance to chemical attack.

Your Chemical Resistant Compact Vacuum Meter for 1600 to 1 mbar
Compact vacuum meters of the VD8 family are fully electronic and combine high quality sensors and modern microcontroller technology with a handy design.
Our customers appreciate these easy-to-operate gauges as reliable tools in plant engineering, service and laboratory.
The digital display of your vacuum meter shows the exact absolute pressure. Sensors with temperature compensation and sophisticated evaluation electronics guarantee precise and reproducible measurement results.
Optionally the vacuum meters can be used as datalogger in
order to store pressure data during the measurement. By push of a button those data are easily transmitted to a PC where they can be analysed and documented for your quality assurance using our VacuGraph Windows software.
Mobile use or fixed installation? Quick spot check of actual pressure or documentation of measurements on PC? The VD8 will always be in compliance with your wishes.
Further Advantages:
- Chemical resistant cermic sensor
- Display of minimum and maximum pressure
- Automatic switch-off or continuous operation
- High battery lifetime due to clocked measurement
- Operation with battery or mains adapter
- Robust stainless steel flange

Argweld® Weld Backing Tape
Glass fibre weld backing tape.
The tape would ideally be used for:
One-sided welding of weldable metal.
To achieve a flatter, smooth, coke free weld bead to minimise the need for post-weld grinding and cleaning.
Common metals welded with 'Backing Tape' include:
carbon steels
stainless steel
chrome-moly and duplex steels
copper nickel
cast iron
The tape comprises a 75 mm wide, heat resistant aluminium sticky tape, in the centre of which is a 25 mm wide band of woven glass fibre cloth.
The material is available in two grades:
Standard 80 amp Light duty for use up to 80 amps
Heavy Duty 160 amp Heavy duty for use up to 160 amps
It is possible to weld onto the tape with MIG, Stick, TIG or plasma processes, so long as the recommended current levels are not exceeded.
The lightweight grade comes in 25 metre lengths and the heavyweight in 12.5 meter lengths.
If lengths are needed to be joined, rolls of the sticky aluminium tape without the fiber are available from Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Limited, allowing a small length to be cut off to join two lengths of the 'Backing Tape' together.
