Modular extraction hood: banish welding fumes to the past
Euromate, a specialist in innovative solutions for the extraction of welding fumes, has developed a modular extraction hood. This modular concept provides the best answer to all your welding fumes, cutting and gouging issues, where source extraction is impossible.
Often the extraction of welding fumes in hoods takes place in the middle, not always being very efficient. Some of the fumes will flow out at the sides of the hood – not being extracted at all. Therefore Euromate developed a side extraction framework, optimising the airflow considerably and thus improving the extraction’s efficiency.
As extraction takes place from the sides instead of the middle, more fumes are being extracted from the working area – creating a healthier working environment. Thanks to the well thought-out deflector plate, the airflow is controllable and minimizes sparks to reach the air-treatment system, decreasing the risk of fire substantially.
As the extraction hood of Euromate comes in modular parts, the extraction hood can easily be put together on the spot. It’s not a do-it-yourself kit, but it is not far of! The extraction hood can be suspended from the ceiling or used as a freestanding unit on aluminium legs – according to the environment you are working in. The legs are optional, available in 2, 2.5 and 3 meters and can be cut to requested lengths. The modular design comes as standard with eye bolts. Euromate offers a modular design from 1.5 m² up to 8 m². Expandable with various accessories, such as a lighting fixture incl. fluorescent light, aluminium legs and welding strips.

The intelligent extraction hood!
REVEN® temperature and fume sensors enable perfect control of the exhaust air flow of extraction hoods. The plan bottom extractor EFP is suitable to extract both very difficult materials for their grade of fluidity and for the controlled feeding of pneumatic conveying lines. It is entirely built in stainless steel AISI 304. the charging hopper is cylindrical and it has vertical walls to assure a good materials descent. The extraction device is made by a couple of blades shaped to ease the material flow towards the outlet which is positioned at a side. The transmission is connected with plan bottom which is independent and can be dismantled from the rest of the machine with nuts, this allow the complete emptying of the machine and its entire the cleaning.

The batch IC and FIC™ extractors have been developed by GEA Niro to supply a unique equipment for production of high quality coffee extract for further processing in an instant coffee powder factory.
This extractor consists of a number of vertical percolator columns arranged in a battery. Each column – or vessel – is in turn filled with ground coffee beans, after which water at a predefined temperature is added. This process is in principle a batch process. By means of a valve manifold, the columns are inter-connected, and thereby the extraction process becomes continuous and counter-current, which gives an excellent quality of coffee extract, where it is possible to control the yield and quality of the aroma fraction.

A new series of carpet extractors has been introduced by Nilfisk-Advance. The range includes both cold water and hot water cleaning capability.
The MX 103C is designed for quick and easy re-moval of carpet and upholstery stains. It is a lightweight, compact machine that facili-tates easy transportation and storage. The MX 107C is the other cold-water extractor in the range.
The two hot water models, the MX 307H and the MX 521H, both feature in-line instant hot water for deep cleaning. Both units also feature as standard equip-ment, the unique and proprietary Evolution injection and recovery wand.
