AirClean Systems PCR Combination Workstation
AirClean®Systems PCR workstations with UVTect™ microprocessor control, allow you to maintain a Class 100 clean work area during PCR preparation. The AC600 Series LFUV Model has a built-in 254 nm ultraviolet light that allows the operator to irradiate tubes, flasks and pipettes between amplifications. The 254 nm ultraviolet light will effectively destroy potentially contaminating DNA and RNA within minutes. UVTect™ monitors the life of the bulb to ensure proper levels of irradiation.
The workstations feature a unique interlocking sash with a safety overlap to prevent gaps. The sash also has a safety switch that automatically turns off the ultraviolet light and activates the blower and fluorescent light when the sash is raised. This revolutionary uni-body design provides unmatched user protection from harmful ultraviolet rays during the sterilization process. HEPA filtered units have a built-in monitoring system to alert the user when to change the HEPA filter.

BIGNEAT's PCR UV workstation efficiently protects against contamination by bathing PCR aparatus in sterile air and limiting the risk of contamination from the operators arms, or from equipment bought into the otherwise sterile environment.

Biological Safety Cabinet
The new CellGard NU-480 Laminar Flow Class II, Biological Safety Cabinet features the unique TouchLink Electronic Airflow Control System, a microprocessor module that establishes and maintains an optimum balance between the supply air system and exhaust air system through constant monitoring of airflow, using a digital dual thermistor airflow sensor and a digital differential velocity pressure flow grid. The information is received by the Electronic Control System to control both down flow and exhaust flow. The system maintains a complete diagnostic function and has remote contacts for remote sensing of various functions.
CellGard’s Decontamination Process - Decon 101, is a unique method to inactivate or destroy infection agents or neutralize toxic agents. This system uses formalin or liquid formaldehyde as the disinfectant agent and liquid ammonia as the neutralizing agent. The system is comprised of the Vaporizer, the Exhaust Canopy, with Vapor Collection Cartage and four [4] window clamps to insure a gas tight window seal. Activation of the system can be automatic using TouchLinkTM or done manually. The front hinged panel opens 30° for ease of manual cleaning.
The NU-480 is also available with Glass Side Walls which allows better viewing for Teaching and Educational Labs. Portable Safety Station for Personnel Protection
The LabGard® NU-813 is a Class I Biological Safety Cabinet that is an exceptional value and offers personnel protection for work in process where other cabinets are not appropriate choices. The NU-813 is a generation of exceptionally quiet enclosures that can be used with a micro-computer based balance. The open front allows room air to enter the hood, flowing past the operator into the work access opening, providing an air barrier which minimizes contaminants generated within the hood work zone from migrating into the room. The small cabinet size means it can be strategically placed for convenient handling of aerosols and particulates of low to moderate risk assessment.
The NU-813 automatically exhausts filtered air back into the room, or can be coupled from the exhaust collar to the building exhaust system, making the cabinet suitable for work with compounding powders. When used as a Containment Cabinet provides personnel protection for handling aerosols and particulate matter of low risk assessment. This configuration employs a 99.99% efficient HEPA filter. The NU-813 can also be used as a Ductless Fume Hood providing personnel protection from solvents such as those employed in cytology. This configuration uses either a Purafil® filter or a Charcoal filter.
The NU-813 is ideal for applications such as Life Science, Hospital and/or Pharmacy for the safe handling of powders or liquids, Animal facility for necropsy or other processes that require personnel protection.
