Variomag Thermoshake
The Variomag Thermoshake is one of the most compact heated and cooled shaking positions for a wide range of standard SBS plates and tubes. The Thermoshake can be placed on the deck of liquid handling systems with the lowest possible usage of space. It combines excellent control of temperature and fluid mixing to guarantee a state-of-the-art quality of chemical reactions. The cooling function offers the unique possibility to stop reactions quickly by reducing the temperature of the liquid samples. Shaking curves are linear and orbital.

The INHECO CPAC Ultra Flat is a very compact single position heated and cooled unit, built onto the deck of a liquid handling system. Compact footprint and overall height, most SBS listed disposable can be fitted. The system is also suited for the heating and cooling of tubes and other probe formats. The unit is ready-to- install, CE and UL certified. A thermal fuse provides extra protection from overheating.
Power supply, temperature setting and control of the CPAC Microplate is performed through an INHECO TEC Control unit, please refer to the seperate TEC Control data sheet. Various types of aluminum adapter plates to match the required disposable are available. Adapter plates and positioner can be easily taken down for cleaning, or changed to another configuration within minutes.

Microprocessor control for accurate temperature setting
Stylish and economical general purpose stirrer hotplates designed with safety as well as performance in mind. The cast aluminium body is shaped for stability and helps deflect spills away from the controls and the user. The "Hot" warning light will flash whenever the plate temperature is above 50°C even when the hotplate is turned off and connected to the mains. Independent safety circuit prevents overheating in the event of control failure and internal electronic components are protected against corrosion. Powerful magnets and motor give stirring speed up to 1500rpm and volumes up to 15 litres.
Model CB162 has a glass ceramic top which has excellent chemical and temperature resistance. The surface is easy to clean and the thermal properties allow very high plate temperatures while ensuring the edges stay cooler, reducing the chance of accidental burns. The white surface ensures good visibility of colour changes.
Model SB162 has a robust aluminium/silicon alloy top plate for good heat transmission. A 700W element gives rapid heating and ensures even temperature distribution across the whole of the plate.

Stuart Shakers and Rockers
Stuart offers a comprehensive range of shakers, five motions are available, linear, orbital, see-saw, 3D gyrattory and microtitre plate. Almost all actions are available in two sizes personal (surface 220 x 220mm) and laboratory (surface 335 x 335mm)
Shakers are ideal for almost any vessel from microcentrifuge tubes through Petri dishes and microtitre plates to conical flasks. Shakers are available with either an orbital action where the platform moves in a circular orbit or a reciprocating linear movement where the platform moves back and forth horizontally. An orbital action provides a swirling action on the sample, ideal for aeration. A linear shaker is more aggressive making it ideal for applications such as extractions.
Rockers work in a similar way to platform shakers but are much less aggressive on the sample. Rockers utilise either a see saw action, where the platform rocks on a central point, or a gentler 3D gyratory action where the platform moves in a three dimensional motion about the central point. A see saw action provides a wave motion in the sample, ideal for washing. A 3D gyratory action very gently swirls the sample making it ideal for delicate cell culturing, staining and de-staining procedures etc. In some cases a tier system is available where magnetic platforms can be stacked to increase capacity, without increasing the footprint.
The microtitre plate shakers are specifically designed to provide a fast mixing action about a tight obit ideal for mixing microtitre plates.

During the coating of steel or aluminium strips in high speed coil coating machines the liquid coatings (varnishes) are stressed to an extremely high degree. Therefore it is absolutely essential to test the mechanical hardness of these varnishes in the laboratory first.
During the test the coating is poured into a small container and subjected to very high shear conditions (up to 64.000 rpm). These conditions are created by the contrarotating high speed propellers. After the test the coating is applied to a test panel and baked at different temperatures. The subsequent testing of the surface shows whether the coating meets the required quality standards.

Trilab authorizes mixtures in the laboratory under production conditions, particularly in a controlled atmosphere, and hence brings together pilot results directly scalable to production levels. It consists of three types of coaxial agitation: 1 central agitation movement, 1 scraping movement and 1 rotor/stator in vessel bottom. Thank to its patented SMASH effect, Smasher first crushes the sample in record time and then automatically adjusts the speed to ensure a perfect homogenisation of the enrichment broth. In case of difficult samples (i.e. hard or voluminous samples), Smasher automatically resets the paddles position and retries powerfully several times. The operator doesn't need to reposition the blender bag.
Easy-to-clean, ultra-quiet operation
A particular attention has been taken to guarantee an efficient cleaning and disinfection of Smasher: Leak-proof chamber with integrated waste drawer, possibility to tilt it back at 45° if required for improved access.
