Fiber coupled arrays feature high brightness fiber coupling, small footprint and very high power in passively cooled packages. They deliver 25W to 120W of laser power through 0.22 NA multimode optical fibers with 100µm to 600µm core.

FemtoMaster is a passively mode-locked soliton fibre laser with a semiconductor saturable absorber as one of the cavity mirrors. The active medium is a core-pumped Yb-doped fibre. The laser oscillators generate transform-limited 5-15 ps pulses.
The lasers have been designed for maintenance free OEM applications. Compact size, built in electronic drivers and monitoring photodiode makes this unit ideal for demanding laboratory and industrial applications.

The FemtoPower1060 is a range of high-power picosecond passively mode-locked fibre lasers operating in the 1060 nm spectral range. Based on Fianium's FemtoMaster1060 and custom made high-power fibre amplifier, the FP1060 range can provide average powers up to 20W and repetition rates from 20 to 100MHz.

SC400 is a high power fiber laser generating supercontinuum radiation in the 400 - 2500 nm spectral band with average power up to 6W. The laser consists of a master source based on the FemtoMaster1060, a custom made nonlinear high power fibre amplifier. The lasers are air-cooled, maintenance free and do not require any adjustments.

Firecomms 665nm VCSELs operate at red wavelengths over 0 to 40°C, and require about one tenth of the operating current of edge emitting lasers. Firecomms multimode red VCSEL is designed for applications where low operating current, excellent beam quality, and visible light are of premium importance.
Firecomms' VCSELs have a bandwidth of up to 3GHz which makes the VCSEL ideal for Gigabit data transmission speeds. Our VCSEL family includes our latest product EDL1000G, a 1x9 POF transceiver module capable of delivering data over POF at rates up to 1.25 Gbps. The transceiver, which is pin compatible with 1x9 optical transceivers for glass fiber, includes Firecomms' OptoLock for quick and easy bare POF terminations without the need for careful fiber cutting or polishing. |

Cladding-Pump' is perhaps the most significant innovation yet in the field of active fiber devices. By harnessing the high power outputs of multimode pump diodes, cladding-pump fibers have made the goal of multi-watt lasers and amplifiers a reality.
CP1100 employs Fibercore Limited's QPS (quasi polygonal, sinusoidal) fabrication technology (patents pending). The multi-lobed, pure-silica pump-core of CP1100 ensures that pump energy is transferred efficiently into the central, ytterbium-doped laser core whilst the circular cross section enhances compatibility with conventional optical fibers and components.
Unlike competitors' cladding-pump technologies, which employ a silicone rubber or low refractive index resin, CP1100 has a doped silica outer cladding. This unique construction dramatically improves and simplifies the handling characteristics of cladding-pump fibers - and can only increase both reliability and power-handling capabilities. |
