General description
Application: Cutting battery cathodes from aluminum foil for use in pace-maker implants.
Features: A 355nm laser is used to cut the cathode pattern from a reel of foil. An automated feed system indexes the foil across a vacuum-assisted cut platen. A pick-and-place robot removes and stacks the cathodes.

MAXIMO is a large cutting system based on the well proven PLATINO, the PRIMA INDUSTRIE 2D laser machine, hundreds of which are installed all over the world.
MAXIMO can boast all the advantages of that well known, accurate and fast machine combined with a very large work area. This result is obtained with a simple but highly effective solution: a complete PLATINO machine - with its mechanical structure, laser generator, CNC, moving carriages, optical chain and focusing head - travelling on rails over a fixed working table, processing sheets of any lengths with the only limitation of the space available in the workshop.
In addition to the movement axes of the PLATINO machine (the X- and Y1-axis for the longitudinal and transversal movements, the Z-axis for the vertical one), MAXIMO features a further Y2-axis, which allows the machine to move beyond its Y1-axis stroke, as far as the sheet metal to be processed requires.
MAXIMO is available in a 3-axis and a 5-axis version.
MAXIMO 5 features the Heavy Duty head with focal axis for 2D, 3D and bevel cutting.
MAXIMO is quickly and easily installed. There is in fact no need of a complete foundation: thanks to a peculiar patented solution for the main carriage guidance and isostatic support, only two plinths of the same length of the Y2-axis stroke are needed.

LPKF MicroCut
Capable of cutting any shape without burrs
The LPKF MicroCut is a high-performance stencil laser. The LPKF MicroCut is capable of cutting any shape at up to 50,000 openings per hour.
The laser can cut apertures as small as 30 µm with a roundness better than 96%, and its effective material focus diameter produces sharp contours.
As a result of the new cutting technology post-treatment is not necessary anymore.
Absolute flatness of the material is reached also with highest component density by the new LPKF PulsShape function.

The CM502 CNC tube sawing and machining centre has a capacity of O.D. 12 to 102mm on a workable piece length of up to 650mm.
It is a CNC programmable and fully integrated manufacturing system which takes random stock length of solid bar and tube, cuts it to length , then simultaneously machines both ends, in-line measuring and final components unloading.

Laser welding system ELC 250 DUO
The extraordinarily sturdy twin-spindle laser-welding machine offers simultaneous loading and unloading of the work spindles. The clamped/compressed component can be welded axially and radially. an entry pallet.

loading new plates, the unloading of already
cut plates on outlet pallets while the
machine is cutting other plates.
3. With the Adiramatic Tower starting from
the cutting programme, the loading of the
plate to cut and the unloading of the cut
material can be done automatically without
the intervention of the operator.
New and already cut plates are stored in
coded drawers that are set on multi-drawers
storage towers, being used whenever
