The Excalibur Flexible Manufacturing Cell is a unique concept system from Laser Photonics, LLC. The Excalibur is the latest in lean manufacturing technology and offers a complete turnkey solution for manufacturers and production facilities. This new concept introduces the idea of using one Fiber Laser Module to control the tasks of up to four different machines with the use of one optical switch. The Excalibur is specifically designed for any manufacturer or production facility that performs applications which entail laser cutting, welding or remote welding and sheet cutting or marking. This concept is leading the way in helping manufacturers increase their production speed while lowering operating costs, floor space and initial capital spent on more expensive machines. The Excalibur is perfect in situations where robot training time is slowing down production and costing valuable time and money.
One of the main benefits of this flexible manufacturing cell is the many ways the system reduces operation costs. Since the system is operating off of one module the cost is instantly reduced by the amount of additional modules. In these cases the Excalibur can easily be upgradable when production needs to be increased.

Since 1995 Osai integrates LASER for micro-machining (marking, welding, drilling).
The experience has been acquired during over 200 applications, for customers worldwide, and is the basis for our range of standard machines utilising LASER technology.
The knowledge of the technology and the processes derives from the cooperation started with Carl Baasel Lasertechnik, developed in the partnership with the Rofin group, worldwide leader in implementing industrial LASER sources.
The development of the machining processes, performed by our machines, took place with the continuous support of TWI, World association for material joining techniques.

Our TS 4.20 2D system cuts and welds metal sheets by means of a single, special cutting and welding head. The system can process metal sheets with dimensions from 1000 x 2000mm to 2050 x 4100mm and thicknesses from 1 mm to 8 mm, with laser power of 5000W or 6000W. After the process, the metal sheets can measure 4000 x 20000 mm and more. The machine is equipped with an automatic loading system, which allows a high degree of automation and prolonged continuous operation.
Like all TTM machines, the TS 4.20 2d was designed using FEM (Finite Elements Method) structural computation software that enables the dimensional features of the structures to be defined and the strain and deformation states to be optimised in relation to the stresses applied. With this new solution developed to meet customers' specific needs, TTM once again presents itself as a partner-supplier of ideas that translate into innovative, reliable and technologically advanced machines.
