The Excalibur Flexible Manufacturing Cell is a unique concept system from Laser Photonics, LLC. The Excalibur is the latest in lean manufacturing technology and offers a complete turnkey solution for manufacturers and production facilities. This new concept introduces the idea of using one Fiber Laser Module to control the tasks of up to four different machines with the use of one optical switch. The Excalibur is specifically designed for any manufacturer or production facility that performs applications which entail laser cutting, welding or remote welding and sheet cutting or marking. This concept is leading the way in helping manufacturers increase their production speed while lowering operating costs, floor space and initial capital spent on more expensive machines. The Excalibur is perfect in situations where robot training time is slowing down production and costing valuable time and money.
One of the main benefits of this flexible manufacturing cell is the many ways the system reduces operation costs. Since the system is operating off of one module the cost is instantly reduced by the amount of additional modules. In these cases the Excalibur can easily be upgradable when production needs to be increased.

The Sirius 1000 is a high performance high-ply textile cutter with automatic material feed. Owing to the stable knife action and high vacuum power, it is possible to accurately cut coated materials and fleece, cotton, wool, insulating materials and other voluminous materials up to 100 mm in height, compressed under vacuum, at effective cutting speed of up to 20 m per minute.
To ensure excellent cutting quality of even very high stacks , the cutter is characterised by a specially designed vacuum flow, which ensures that the cutting material is subjected to an evenly distributed pressure during compression and therefore there is no displacement within the multilayer pile. To achieve greater efficiency when cutting soft materials, the output of the vacuum pump was also raised so that voluminous materials are compressed down to 30% of their uncompressed height. This means that at the same cutting height more layers can be cut.
The adaptive knife guide in the Z axis (tangential axis)ensures that deflections of the knife caused by the cutting forces during the cutting process are automatically compensated. In this way, a very high degree of cutting accuracy with soft materials ,from the top to the bottom layer is achieved.
These characteristics, combined with the reinforcement of the lateral knife guide, the stable guidance of the knife back and the reinforced pressing plate guide, allow to cut compressed layers of voluminous materials accurately up to a height of 100 mm at effective speeds of up to 20 m per minute.
For the automotive version of the cutter , the drilling machine was reinforced to enable precision bores up to 25 mm to be performed rapidly.

If you cut textiles, flexible materials or composites to form part of your product you need guaranteed accuracy, optimized material usage and the ability to cut on demand. Your material might be heavy or wide, shapes to be cut
might be awkward or large and the traditional methods of manual cutting or press knife cutting force compromises between material use and speed. The PREMIUMCUT II cuts your components straight from the roll in whatever
quantity you require when you cut. The Premiumcut II is a high performance cutter that includes all the benefits for which assyst/bullmer is well known; excellent engineering and reliability coupled with the lowest possible running
costs. Models with a working width from 1600 mm up to 3200 mm in 200 mm steps are available as standard.
Standard length of the cutting window is 2000 mm on the conveyorised Premiumcut, special lengths on request (Static bed cutting up to 12000 mm also available). The continuous process of material flow (feeding, loading,
cutting, sorting) is supported by the integrated conveyor belt of the PREMIUMCUT II as well as by an optional automatic material feeding device. The control software is simple to operate and optimizes the capability of the cutter.
The standard equipment of the PREMIUMCUT II includes a base module cutting head which independently supports the most important inserts such as pneumatic high stroke tool, electric high vibration tool and electric rotary tool. The exchange can be executed very easily by hand without using any auxiliary tools. A Pen and Laserpointer are part of the base module-configuration. Depending on the application there are 7 additional module extensions available.
