The LTC-502 leak test computer is the startup model in our successful LTC leak tester series. The LTC-502 enables the complete functionality of the PC to be used for rapid and precise measurements of pressure differences and flow, even in extreme situations.

SDT LeakTESTER
Leak testing by measuring mass flow
The SDT LeakTESTER operates on the principle of Mass Flow for manual or automatic testing of any component which must meet rigid tightness criteria, such as taps, catheters, pouches, flasks, packaging, bottles, syringes, cartridges, cooling circuits, shock absorbers, etc.
- Tightness is measured by recording the flow of gas (air, nitrogen, etc.), not the difference in pressure, between the reference volume and the piece being tested. A measurement is made of the flow rate in a flow sensor (mass flow sensor).
- Integration of the SDT LeakTESTER into the production chain is accompanied by the installation of pneumatic equipment whose control valves are opened and closed by the SDT LeakTESTER itself.
- The SDT LeakTESTER is a centralised electronic measurement unit which provides simultaneous automatic testing for leaks of 1 to 8 pieces generally as they emerge from the manufacturing process.
Unlike the method commonly used to measure a drop in pressure (pressure decay or delta-p), the SDT LeakTESTER also meets the growing demands of all manufacturers: Large range of measurement , fast measurement and versatility.

Tightness control of underground tanks and associated pipe work
Widely recognized and approved method. The SDT TankTEST method by introducing a vacuum and listening to the ultrasounds is the most reliable, most cost-effective, most rapid, most simple, most comprehensive and the most accurate.
With SDT's Graphs & Measurements software for the automatic creation of authenticated reports. All data and test measurements are stored in the detector. They can be transferred to a PC. They provide evidence of testing, measurement readings and graphics
and archiving of the performances.
Control principle
- The use of ultrasonic frequencies means a far higher level of sensitivity than is possible with audible sound.
- The pressure in the tank is reduced, and the ultrasonic vibrations caused by the passage of water, air or other substances through a hole in the tank wall are detected by two sensitive sensors, one in the liquid and the other above the level of the liquid.
- The SDT 170 MTT detects the typical frequencies of leaks in underground tanks. It measures them and converts them to audible frequencies. These are fed back in three forms: visually and measured in dBµV on the detector display, and audibly through his headphones.

Flo-Check USB represents the next generation of hydraulic test equipment. This technologically advanced device simultaneously measures flow, pressure, temperature and power within a hydraulic system. Data is displayed and logged through a custom Windows®-based software application; data is received from the Analyzer through a standard USB cable (both software and cable are included with the unit). The unit is bi-directional, provides an accuracy of ±1% of full scale, and includes a low-resistance load valve and internal pressure relief discs.

HDT/VicatPlus Tester
The Davenport HDT/VICATPlus is designed to determine the temperature of deflection of thermoplastic samples in accordance with both national and international standards.
The unit consists of a temperature controlled oil bath, with up to six testing stations, each of which may be configured for either HDT or VICAT test methods. The weight loading mechanism and test fixture mountings are designed as a single unit, which is lowered and raised in to the oil bath by electric motor under software control. The design of this assembly includes extensive safety features. The bath is closed off in the lower and upper positions, the oil surface only being exposed when the assembly is in motion. A nitrogen safety blanket is also fitted as standard.
