With our new Laser-Distance Sensors DLS-B you measure absolute distances up to 500 meters. Thanks to state of the art laser technology the DLS-B device measures with a precision of 1.5 millimeters. It represents a cost efficient solution even at extreme environment temperatures as low as -40° C.
The DLS-B is an optical measuring device. You can measure, maintenance-free, distances on natural and reflective surfaces. You determine positions on objects difficult to access or with very high surface temperatures. Just as well you can measure distances in an aggressive environment in an easy and accurate way.
Serial, analog and digital interfaces are standard features for the complete DLS-B product line. This enables you to easily connect the DLS-B to a control system (SPS, IPC or PC)
The DLS-B device runs in a “Stand-alone-mode” and independently executes all programmed functions. Thanks to the flexible range of functions an external display can be connected directly to the DLS-B device via interface RS232 or RS422. Via a digital input, measurements can also be activated from an external button or switch.
For easy configuration of the DLS-B devices, the necessary software is at your disposal

LIDEC level switches: a dependable solution for liquids detection
Developed in cooperation with “Paris VI” University, the Lidec series liquid level sensors series are especially designed for marine applications.
They provide a reliable solution to liquid level detection.
Their operating principle, a patent granted to Enraf Marine Systems, is based on the propagation of a surface wave inside a stainless steel probe.
This principle is fully static, without vibration or moving parts. A "self-monitoring" function ensures the reliability of this equipment. This allows these sensors to be used in safety systems such as overfill protection, bilge well alarm and water ingress detection...

Pulsarpoint 600 - non-invasive point level measurement :
The Pulsarpoint 600 is ideal for situations where it is undesirable or impossible to make an entry into a liquid storage vessel, yet for example a high level alarm is required. Simply fixing onto the outside of the vessel, the Pulsarpoint 600 operates as an acoustic monitor, ultrasonic soundwaves being transmitted through the wall of the tank to detect the presence or absence of liquid.

Optoelectronic level sensor
The optoelectronic Senlux Besta level sensors are used for the level monitoring of liquids. Depending on the medium they can be installed as a position-insensitive system.

Sludge Finder - effective sludge level detection and control :
Sludge Finder is a reliable, effective sludge interface monitor. A single controller may be used to measure up to four tanks. Sludge Finder uses an underwater acoustic sensor to provide continuous, reliable sludge level detection that lets you reduce pumping, optimise dosing and gives staff time to concentrate on other things.

WEKA tank level indicators are suitable not only for general liquid level measuring applications, but are also a cost-effective means of detecting interface levels between dissimilar liquids. These sensors are unaffected by temperature and pressure, and provide a stable and linear signal output, even with the existence of liquid agitation or the presence of a foam layer. Their ruggedness meets the requirements of the toughest operating conditions, including military applications. They are available in different configurations to so that an optimum solution can be offered for any level measuring range. With only one moving part, these sensors are simple, reliable, virtually maintenance-free, and easy to service, if such a need arises. WEKA has unique capabilities in precision fabrication of stainless steel and other specialized corrosion-resistant metals. This, together with our large selection of float designs, allows us to offer level measuring solutions precisely tailored to your needs.

Pulsar's innovative dB range of transducers has taken ultrasonic level measurement into a new era. Unlike the high voltage, frequency dependent transducers of other manufacturers, which require special, protected interconnect cables, or low powered transducers built with intrinsic safety rather than performance in mind, the dB series combines low electrical power that meets intrinsic safety requirements with extraordinary high sonic power to give range and performance.

Nivowave
Ultrasonic level measurement with revolutionary Acoustic Wave Technology
For continuous, non contact level measurement UWT GmbH now offers the new Nivowave series -
a solution for measurement where conventional ultrasonic measuring techniques have failed.
Acoustic Wave Technology provides exact measuring results even for long distances and in difficult applications. Dust, foam and environmental noise are problems of the past.
What is the Acoustic Wave Technology?
The Nivowave series emits a high powered acoustic wave transmit pulse hence any losses have a far less effect than in conventional ultrasonic devices.
The receiver circuitry is designed to identify and monitor low level return signals even when noise levels are quite high. Thus the environment conditions do not have much influence on the evaluation of signals. High power with low frequency combined with advanced software and the use of specifically shaped cones lead to successful measurement in a wide range of applications.
Automatic modulation of sensitivity and mapping of false echoes, simple mounting and easy programming cut the costs of commissioning considerably.
The measured signal is temperature compensated to provide maximum accuracy to the outputs and display.

Nivobob – the next generation of electromechanical level measurement systems
The completely redesigned plumb bob Nivobob offers the following enhancements:
-Increased durability via brushless motor
-New rope system offers lengthened time between services
-Larger measurement distance – up to 40 metres with the tape version
For small plants that do not have their own visualisation system, an additional remote box is a well priced solution that allows up to 10 instruments to be remotely controlled. Measurement results can be viewed as required and are clearly displayed. Measurement data can easily be integrated in the existing control system, as the Nivobob also offers, alongside the 0/4-20mA signal output, both Modbus and Profibus DP communication.
The wide range of supply voltages, a multitude of different process connections and accreditations, that are also applicable to the North American market ensure that Nivobob is suitable for the international market.
To ensure reliable measurement results in all applications, there is a choice of sensor weights in differing material and shapes. Apart from measurement in typical applications, such as powder or other fine and coarse material, it is also possible to measure the level of interfaces and liquids.
