Portable open electronic gauge
The UTImeter Otex is a portable liquid level gauge designed to be operated under open conditions on petroleum and chemical tanks where open gauging is permitted. The sensor is calibrated once at the factory and does not require subsequent calibration. The temperature probe is a RTD element. The characteristics of the RTD are stored inside the sensor. The sensor is sending true temperature values to the electronic box. Therefore changing a sensor or a tape does not require a new calibration. The unit is used for custody transfer, inventory control measurement and free water detection on marine vessels and shore tanks. The HERMetic UTImeter Otex is set on the open gauging hatch.

Enraf introduced the automatic servo level gauging technology in the mid-fifties. Soon thereafter, we introduced the first automatic level gauge for bulk liquid storage tanks was be certified by leading Weights & Measures authorities.
The latest version is the unique Advanced Tank Gauge with only a few moving parts. The ATG and XTG series microprocessor-controlled servo gauges are compact and need only a 2" mounting flange.
The Enraf Servo gauge provides optimal measuring performance in any application, and can easily be integrated with existing SmartRadar, hydrostatic, or hybrid gauging installations.

The monitoring of liquid level particularly in high reservoirs, in pressure vessels as accumulators or in large gear boxes usually requires the external installation of level controls. These are normally connected to the lowest point of the vessel by fittings or flanges and in most cases also have connections to the space above the liquid level. Alternatively the controls must be open towards ambient atmosphere to allow the fluid to communicate without restriction.
A stainless steel standpipe with attached scale and indicator provides the visual surveillance. An almost unlimited number of electrical contacts can be attached to both sides of the scale or a transducer with analogue signal can be attached to one side plus contacts to the other side. The level controls are available for pressures up to 360 bar.

OCIO is an innovative system for monitoring the fluid level inside atmospheric tanks. The system detects the static pressure generated by the fluid height by means of a tube inserted in the tank and displays the fluid level or volume. The new design and suitable solutions guarantee a reliable and repeated level indication.
The system is composed of:
A tube for detecting the static pressure. The tube with its end is inserted from the top of the tank and dipped in the fluid down to the bottom of the tank.
A control unit for level display and system management. The unit is provided with intuitive and complete software and allows the connection of two alarm or lock devices.
By means of the software it is possible to:
- set the type and the dimensions of the tank
- define the level alarms
- define the level indication
- define the unit of measurement
- calibrate the instrument
Depending on the set alarm levels, the control unit activates or deactivates the contact working as a remote switch starting the alarm devices or cutting the power supply off the connected equipment

Pneumatic tank contents gauges represent an economic solution for an accurate tank contents measurement with remote indication. The pneumatic tank contents gauge UNITOP requires no power supply, has an accuracy of 2 % and can be installed up to a distance of 50 m from the tank. UNITOP functions safely and reliably and with millions in daily use, is well proven.
Inspite of that it was possible to incorporate into the new instrument generation a number of ideas. The new dual scale facilitates the contents supervision of rectangular and cylindrical tanks. Indication is provided in % of liquid height and is thereby in its basic form independent of the tank shape. Naturally, for all DIN-tanks and many special tanks slide-in scales with calibration in Litres are available, as are additional scales in Litres for specially shaped tanks. All adjustment possibilities and functions are clearly shown on the dial. A robust brass connection with cap nut for connecting a 6 mm tube or hose ensure safe and airtight connection of the capillary line. A vent screw has now been integrated in the connector with which it is now easily possible to check the Zero position of the pointer. The measurement mechanism which is manufactured from highly stable engineering plastic is mounted separately from the instrument housing and thereby guarantees a stable Zero point and a high measuring accuracy. In addition, the instrument also houses an overpressure device and a consumption control with date indication.
UNITOP is available for use with the following liquids: Heating oil L, EL, diesel fuel, water and urea solution (AdBlue).

Ultrasonic Liquid Leveller
The Link Instruments ULLC2001 Ultrasonic Level Comparator is one of the most advanced Liquid Levellers on the market. Both extremely easy to use and micro-pic controlled for greater precision in measurement. The transducer is placed against the cylinder body 120mm below the calculated liquid gas level, (normally mathematically calculated). While retaining the transducer at this point the Comparator's ultrasonic level is set to around two or three divisions / bars-, by use of the 0-10 Tune Control. This gives a reference level against which the signal at the gas level / air interface is compared.
By slowly sliding the transducer up the cylinder body, you will arrive at the gas level / air interface. At this point the signal will rise sharply and this is visible on the Comparator usually as all 16 divisions / bars- appear and is due to the enhanced propagation of the Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW), across the liquid gas.

Enrafs Field Display & Interface Unit (FDI) provides tank inventory information in the field, where it is needed. It is a versatile, EEx-d approved instrument with several interface options, which can even be part of W&M approved applications.
The design of the FDI is therefore based on reliable and uninterrupted data
supply in all circumstances. The unit can be used in stand alone mode using the Enraf Bi-phase Mark communication protocol for direct connection to an Enraf gauge, or any other gauge using this standard communication protocol in tank farms. The unit will interrogate the gauge and display its measured data.
To update its display in bigger installations where a remote tank inventory
system is available, the indicator listens to the communication between the field instrument and the remote system. When the communication between system and gauge fails, the FDI automatically takes over the scanning of the instrument to provide the measurement data in the field. After sensing the scanning from the system again, it returns to the original configuration.

The Atlas is Magnetrols subsidiary Orion Instruments standard, high performance magnetic level indicator. Atlas is a single chamber design with either 2", 2.5", or 3" chamber diameter, as required by the application. There are twelve basic configuration styles including top mount models. Special configurations are also available.
Atlas magnetic level indicators are produced in a wide range of materials of construction, including plastics. Orion also offers one of the most complete selections of process connection types and sizes in the industry.
Atlas may be equipped with a variety of level transmitters and switches as well as flag and shuttle indicators with or without stainless steel scales. This enables the Atlas to be a complete level and monitoring control.

Aurora is the next generation of Magnetic Level Indicators. Its patented design is state of the art in this technology and reflects Magnetrol's subsidiary Orion Instruments innovation and commitment to magnetically coupled level indicators.
Aurora is a totally redundant system of continuous level monitoring and control. An Eclipse guided wave radar coaxial probe is housed along with the MLI float in a 3" or 4" diameter chamber. While the indicator relies upon the float and its internal magnets to activate the flags or shuttle, the Eclipse measures the liquid level directly. Two completely separate technologies in a single external chamber ensure redundancy unlike any other MLI. The use of a baffle plate within the chamber ensures that the float and eclipse coaxial probe work seamlessly within the single chamber.
There are six basic configuration styles and over fifteen material selections for Aurora. For the first time ever, the ability to accurately and reliably measure ultra low dielectric media, high pressure/high temperature process conditions, and media with shifting and changing
dielectric values can be accomplished with Aurora.

One instrument, three functions: level indicator, level switch, and level transmitter !
WEKA Magnetic Flag Level Indicators provide three important functions in a single instrument, independently of one another: level indicator, level switch (user adjustable over the full range), and level transmitter with electrical signal output. The visual readout does not require electric power supply for its functioning, and indicates liquid level in a vessel through a directly-connected chamber, based on the phenomenon of a liquid having the same level in connected vessels.
