Continuous level measurement over a measuring range of up to 8 meters
The Tower-Sens is a rod detector based on the well-known level gauging system LB 490 Uni-Probe. It has been designed specifically to monitor large measuring ranges.
With only one electronic unit and only one flameproof-housing, the Tower-Sens is significantly more economical than systems comprising several short, cascading detectors. Moreover, the wiring efforts and the risk of complete system failure are drastically reduced.
The combination of good value, reliability, accuracy and low source activity make the Tower-Sens the ideal solution for measuri

Dependable solid state devices to liquid level, photoelectric
temperature and process control
Operating on the principle of conductivity (the ability of a liquid to conduct electricity), Curtis Industries Liquid Level controls sense and control the level of almost any fluid or moist solid. These units are available with fixed or adjustable set points to control levels in fluids having an external circuit resistance up to 3,000,000 ohms.

Dancer or Follower Arm? You'll find both operating modes applicable for the DFC-90 and DFC-A low cost tension controls.
Dancer Mode:
In dancer control applications, the DFC-90 and DFC-A are full PID closed loop dancer controls. They control web tension by sensing the position of the dancer arm through a DFP or DFP-2 Position Sensor and adjusting the clutch, brake or motor control torque accordingly to maintain the dancer position set point. An advanced control algorithm provides optimum control and ease of use.
Follower Arm Mode:
In follower arm applications, the DFC-90 and DFC-A control web tension by compensating for measured changes in the roll diameter. Roll diameter changes are measured through the DFP or DFP-2 Position Sensor and a follower arm. An optional Stop Multiplier provides additional stopping torque to help stop large unwind rolls.
Make quick setup adjustments using the easily accessible potentiometers. All adjustments are intuitive and clearly marked.

Portable open electronic gauge
The UTImeter Otex is a portable liquid level gauge designed to be operated under open conditions on petroleum and chemical tanks where open gauging is permitted. The sensor is calibrated once at the factory and does not require subsequent calibration. The temperature probe is a RTD element. The characteristics of the RTD are stored inside the sensor. The sensor is sending true temperature values to the electronic box. Therefore changing a sensor or a tape does not require a new calibration. The unit is used for custody transfer, inventory control measurement and free water detection on marine vessels and shore tanks. The HERMetic UTImeter Otex is set on the open gauging hatch.
The unit enables 3, optionally 4 measurements in one single operation

The oil management system controls the oil level in the compressor crankcase. The system consists of the following ESK-components:
• ESK – Oil Separators
• ESK – Reservoir
• ESK – Oil Level regulators
• ESK – Pressure Valve
• ESK – Strainers
The oil carried over by a compressor in parallel systems has to be returned in the same quantity under all operating conditions. ESK-Oil management systems provide this control and work reliable.
Oil management systems are essential to control oil level if different compressor models are equipped in one a refrigeration system.

All Häberle floats are manufactured according to DIN ISO 9001:2000 quality specifications and are thoroughly tested before shipping. Not only make we sure that their mechanical and surface properties are up to standard, but we also carry out a pressure test.

Floats for float switches
Unlike dynamic level detectors, float switches are mainly used to sense a static (e.g. maximum or minimum) level of liquid within a tank. The signal is actuated by either a magnetic (contactless) or electric sensor. For safety reasons, contactless magnetic sensors are often used with dangerous (e.g. explosive) media.
However, floats can also be used in purely mechanic devices known as "float valves" to open or close an inlet in relation to a certain fluid level.
All our floats for float switches are made according entirely to your individual specifications, e.g. with mounting rod, threaded or hinged mounting bracket etc.
Type, size and material of the float are subject to customers' requirements and the nature of the task

Magnetic floats
Magnetic floats are used to detect dynamic fluid levels, either as single floats in homogeneous media or as interface level detectors in fluids with different densities.
Magnetic floats have a magnet inside and are placed on a guiding rod. For interface level detection, several floats can be placed on one single guiding rod.
The magnetic float actuates the detection circuit either by means of a reed contact or - for a more accurate reading - a magnetostrictive sensor.
We produce both magnetic switches for reed contacts and magnetic floats for magnetostrictive sensors
|
|
Magnetostrictive fluid level measurement
To measure liquid levels using magnetic floats, an electronic detection device is necessary.
There are two common detection methods that use either reed contacts or magnetostrictive devices. When reed contacts are used, these are located within the guiding rod. Magnetostrictive devices, on the other hand, use variations in the magnetic field to detect the position of the float, which gives far more accurate readings than a reed contact.
