Principle
The vibrating probe level switch is structured of two piezoelectric elements built on vibration kit inside pipe. One receives pulse signal from PCB and causes pipe to vibrate, and the vibration transmits to the other in order to output electric signal and it is sent to PCB. When the vibration of the pipe is paused when measuring the material surrounding it, PCB can not receive the vibration signal from the piezoelectric element and relay actuates on.
This enables the use in fail-safe due to few malfunction and high stable work.
This vibrating probe provides reliable & trouble-free level sensing for bulk solids. Simple mounting and calibration, high confidence in working, it is unaffected by material built-up and static electricity, and can withstand high lateral loads.
Features
No calibration needed, using friendly as well as sturdy and durable design.
Shed off build-up material. No fear about accumulated material on sensor.
High / Low fail safe modes offer safety and reliability.
According to different density, its adjustable sensitivity wheel button can be set even for finest material.

VEGASWING:
Versatile use in liquids
The piezo drive is the heart of VEGASWING, actuating the tuning fork on its resonance frequency. The frequency of the fork falls when being immersed. The frequency change is processed by the integrated oscillator and converted into a switching command. The piezo drive is screwed to ensure reliability and ruggedness. With the tuning fork of only 40 mm length, VEGASWING 60 works reliably in all liquids and mounting locations. Pressure, temperature, foam and bubbles and even viscosity do not affect the switching accuracy. Even pipelines with a nominal width of DN 25 are no problem.
VEGASWING 60 is the universal level switch for all applications.
Advantages
- Virtually independent of product characteristics
- Level detection up to +250°C
- Short tuning fork of 40 mm
Applications
- Level detection of liquids

The vibrating rod of VEGAVIB is actuated via piezoceramic elements. If the vibrating rod is immersed, the amplitude will be damped. The amplitude change is processed by the integrated oscillator and converted into a switching command. Due to the rod design, it is nearly impossible for material, e.g. granules, to get wedged in. Typical applications are overfill or dry run protection systems, e.g. in flour, milk powder, sand, cement, plastic granules, styrofoam and down feathers. Even products with a specific gravity up to 0.015 g/cm³ (15 g/l) can be measured. An adjustment with medium is not necessary as the mounting location and the granulation size do not affect the measurement.
Advantages
- Virtually independent of product characteristics
- Optimum rod configuration for solids
- Easy cleaning
Applications
- Level detection of solids

The V-Tork is a point level switch that is designed to detect low or high level of liquids, thick and turbulent fluids, as well as corrosive mediums and pastes (depending on viscosity). Due to its simple and rugged controlled system, the V-Tork is virtually unaffected by any chemical or physical properties of the mediums and can be installed at any angle of the pipe or tank. It is ideal for multiple-purpose processing where the probes must be compatible with a variety of process materials and process conditions. The V-Tork does not require recalibration between batches and can also be cleaned in place.
The V-Tork can operate in temperatures up to 176ºF (80ºC) and has a maximum working pressure of 725 PSI (50Bar).
Standard probes are available with 3/4” up to 1” BSP or NPT process connection and insertion length L= 3 1/8” (L= 80mm).
FEATURES
*Unaffected by variations in density, conductivity, or dielectric constant.
*Unaffected by foam, tank agitation or vibration.
*Various length options to best suit your application.
*Made with 316 S.S. and can be PTFE coated.
*Relay and Transistor outputs available.
*Thread, Tri-Clamp, Hygienic Fittings, Flanges, etc.

The Pulsarpoint 200 series range of point level measurement systems offers the very latest state of the art technology applied to the well respected vibrating blade principle of operation. All units in the range are manufactured to the highest standard from 316 solid stainless steel for maximum strength durability and corrosion resistance. Series 200 provides highly reliable, fixed point level indication or control with a repeatability of 1mm or better. Versions are available to measure solids and slurries with relay output. The Pulsarpoint 200 series uniquely combines solid rugged construction with high sensitivity to produce maximum reliability. The unique blade design allows 'tip sensitive' control and the unit does not react to troublesome material build up on vessel walls. Standard units may be extended using fixed or flexible extensions to suit the application.

The Cleveland Vibrator Company, along with its affiliate HK Technologies, introduces a new line of ultrasonic screening equipment utilizing dual vibrator drives. This dual motor separator provides for three control variables: vibrator force, frequency, and drive angle. This design concept results in a three dimensional motion thus allowing for greater throughput of difficult to screen products. This distinctive vibratory action coupled with HK Technologies unique ultrasonic deblinding system provides a screener that can handle many difficult screening applications. The transducer is attached to the aluminum rim with the wire cloth attached on the bottom (like a sieve). Unlike competitive products, the ultrasonic vibration transfers from the rim to the wire cloth to facilitate the throughput of fines by introducing high frequency movement to the individual wires. Helps eliminate blinding. This unique transfer increases the life of the wire cloth as traditional methods allow heat from the transducer to prematurely fail the fine wires.
Models are available in 24, and 36" diameter screen sizes. Screen sizes down to 635 mesh (20 micron). All screens are re-screenable.
Cleveland Vibrator also manufactures a complete line of brute force screeners as well as fine powder, laboratory screeners. Ask about our HyBrute, a brute force screener with the addition of ultrasonic deblinding.
