OPTODYNE'S MCV-2002 Linear and Angular Machine
Calibration Instrument calibrates CNC machine tools, CMM's
(Coordinate Measuring Machines), and other precision
measurement machines and stages. Angular, straightness and
flatness measurements can be made "onthe-fly". The unique dual
beam design provides a rapid means to measure the surface
flatness of surface plates, optical tables, machine tools, and
bearing guides.
OPTODYNE'S machine calibration instruments are based on
our proprietary and patented Laser Doppler Displacement
Meter (LDDMTM) technology. The total system is compact
providing easy, convenient storage and transporting. Easy set-up
procedures reduce overall machine calibration time, especially
where multiple axes are involved. This, coupled with a modest
initial investment, provides continual savings.
The MCV-2002 dual beam system design provides the user a
simple, easy-to-operate angular and linear capability in a single
instrument. It is like "having two interferometers in one". One
beam collects the angular data while the other beam monitors the
linear position. The user friendly software, running on a laptop
or notebook computer, collects and analyzes this data. The data
can then be displayed on screen or printed in tabular or graphic
form. |

The Photon Laser Module is a self-contained module designed as a complete laser diode solution for OEM use. Applications include industrial alignment, machine vision, measurement & positioning, medical fluorescence and bar code readers.
Wavelengths range from 635nm-830nm, with an elliptical output beam and powers from 0.9mW to 85mW. The laser modules can be supplied with various coloured sleeves to assist in wavelength and power identification. Other wavelengths and power options are available - please contact our sales department to discuss your requirements.
The customer-adjustable lens for collimated or focused beam may be replaced by other optical systems such as line and cross generators.
The laser module consists of an anodised aluminium housing, laser diode, drive circuit and collimating lens, either cylindrical or with a 25mm mounting flange. Mechanical dimensions are 12 mm diameter x 43mm length and all standard Photon Module options are available. Electrical connections are made via external flying leads. |

Powerline lasers:
StockerYale’s Lasiris™ PowerLine structured light laser is a line generator developed for demanding industrial machine vision and scientific applications. Bridging the power gap between the popular SNF and Magnum series lasers, this thermoelectrically cooled device is able to emit uniform laser lines at high powers, up to 1 W at 810 nm and 500 mW at 670 nm.
With exceptional beam pointing and focusing stabilities, the PowerLine laser can be operated in extreme environments ranging from -20°C to +55°C. The laser beam can be modulated by an external signal through a DB-9 connector on the back panel and all models can operate in either CW or external modulation mode. The laser is protected against over-voltage, reverse polarity of the power supply, over-temperature, and ESD. |

| New Source Technology can provide you with a variety of Laser modules, which are offered for use as a building block "engine" in the development or production of rod laser systems, or as a drop-in replacement for arc lamp pump chambers in industrial lasers. They are well suited for applications such as laser marking, materials processing, and scientific research. |
|
| Silver Bullet diode laser sub assemblies (ASMs) are offered with optional soldering kits. CEO® can also attach Silver Bullets to customer-supplied heat exchangers to make completely packaged laser diode arrays. Extreme care should be taken when handling these components. We recommend that they be only used by customers who are experienced in the handling and packaging of laser diode bars. |
