ISO/VDMA Series Metric Standard Interchangeable Cylinder
The ISO/VDMA Series is an aluminum body air cylinder line that is designed to meet all your international cylinder requirements. In fact, our ISO/VDMA Series cylinders are designed to meet the requirements of ISO 6431 (International) and VDMA 24562 (Germany). The combination of lightweight aluminum construction and proven reliability makes our ISO/VDMA Series the Superior Interchangeable metric, international standard air cylinder line.
GeoMetric® ISO/VDMA Cylinder
The GeoMetric® Series conforms to the following cylinder specifications: VDMA 24562, DIN/ISO 6431, and ISO/FDIS 15552. One of the most desirable features of the cylinder line is the dual switch/sensor groove design that is a standard offering on all GeoMetric®cylinders. The dual groove design offers great flexibility when mounting switches and sensors to the cylinders. One groove is a traditional round groove and the other is what we call the CombiGroove®. The CombiGroove® is a unique design that will accept round and angular switches/sensors.

Linear: Basic Air Cylinders
Basic linear air cylinders are used to provide straight-line, in/out linear movement for a variety of applications. Basic air cylinders are available as single-acting and double-acting with single or double rod and non-rotating models.
Body styles include crimped, round, or tie rod. Single-acting cylinders develop thrust in one direction and have lower air consumption compared with the equivalent size of double-acting cylinders. With a double-acting cylinder, air pressure may be alternately applied to provide force in both directions.

TORK-MATE - Pneumatic Actuators - 890 Series
The Tork-Mate 890 series extended life actuators are ideal for the operation of 90° turn devices such as butterfly valves, ball valves, plug valves, damper valves and other devices. Tork-Mate pneumatic actuators have features that are unique, providing many benefits to the user looking for worry-free service.
The Tork-Mate 890 series actuators feature pinion travel stops that allow a full /-10° of valve travel adjustment. As an option, extended stroke adjustment screws can be added for inexpensive throttling applications.
Special piston seals provide greatly extended life compared to standard O-ring actuators. All other bearings, seals and components have been engineered to provide superior and extended service lives.

Turn-Dex is a rotary actuator with an internal unidirectional clutch. The output shaft rotates in one direction only and remains at end of stroke while the actuator is reversed. Turn-Dex is available in two series: the Comp-Act, incorporating the Comp-Act actuator and the Turn-Act, incorporating the Turn-Act actuator.

APPLICATION CONSIDERATIONS:
Overrun: The output shaft can be manually rotated only in its drive direction. Large loads may coast after the actuator has stopped. The output shaft cannot be reverse rotated- Forcing it backwards could damage the Turn-Dex.
Accurate & Repeatabte Positioning: Due to the overrun nature of the clutch external stops, brakes, ro«er and detents or shot-pins is required for accurate and repeatable positioning.
Special Options: Turn-Act will provide customized units to fit your specific application needs. Modifications include special shafting, special mounts, dutch housings with shot-pin cylinders, disc brakes and thrust protection. Consult your Turn Act distributor for additional information.

Humphrey sensor switches are two types. Hall effect sensor swithches are electronic switches with no moving parts. They operate only on low DC supply voltage (10 to 28 VDC). Reed sensor switches are electro-mechanical switches which will operate on either AC of DC voltages (5 to 28VDC or 115AC)

Diaphragm Cylinders
This 1-1/4" bore diaphragm cylinder is designed for a clamping application with minimal friction losses. Its short overall height allows the cylinder to fit into a tight space with minimal friction.
Stroke length: .12".
Output force will be approximately 15% less than theoretical when units are not extended full stroke.
Cylinders should not be operated without a part being clamped (extension should be limited by customer to maximize life).

Rod Lock Cylinders
* The Bimba Original Line Rod Lock Cylinder is a normally clamped unit that holds the piston rod in position when air pressure is not present. It is ideal for preventing drift at machine shut-down.
* The rod lock air cylinder has dowel pins that ride in the cam groove. When air pressure is present, piston actuates and dowel pins follow cam to open position, allowing piston rod to travel freely through clamp. In the absence of pressure, the spring actuates the piston and dowels follow to closed position, activating the rod clamp.
* The Rod Lock is not a safety device. It cannot be used for intermediate stopping; the cylinder is designed to prevent drift from a stationary position.
* Load weight must not exceed the stated holding force for the cylinder.
* Bore sizes are 3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2 ", and 2".
