Hall sensors have proved to be the most reliable technology for revolution measurement. DIS has been using Hall technology for over 10 years in the Quadro-Flux series. There is choice from a range of I/O circuits and housing options to measure revolution up to 25 KHz. For direction indication or fail safe options we offer dual circuits for phase shifted signals.
Measuring range: 0 - 25 KHz max.
Supply voltage: 5Vdc of 10 - 30 Vdc
Output: PNP, NPN or totem pole
Temperature range: -25 tot + 150ºC
Protection class: < IP68 (submersible)
Rotary magnetic coders
The magnetic coder of impulses MDFK consists of a polar wheel and a magnétorésistif detector. He lets himself install in the same way that a conventional incremental coder.
Advantages:
- easy assembly, coder of an advantageous price
- recognition of the direction of rotation
Magnetic coders
Detectors with magnetic fields optimized for rotary and linear applications.
Potentiometer without contact
The magnetic detectors of series MDRM & MDFM are usable like potentiometers without contact. A magnetic rotor placed near the active face of the detector makes it possible to generate the output signals.
Advantages:
- usable in hard environments
- no part moving
- output signals Sine/Cosine
- linear 1... 9 VDC/4... 20 my in absolute values
The magneto resistive sensors detect the movement of ferromagnetic materials, by means of the change of the magnetic flow. They are available with (Series 350) or without (series 300) detection of direction of rotation.
They are suitable for rotary speed sensing, for detection of gearwheels and for standstill control. Areas of use can be heavy construction engines, rail vehicles, large diesel engines and -turbines. Rotary speed sensing is possible with gear wheels form module 1, with a max. switching frequency of 15 kHz.
For contactless feed control, also suitable at reduced speed and wires
Detection of metallic, non-metallic and shiny surfaces, also at minimal speed
Robust metal casing
High protection class
