With the magnetic distance- and angle industrial measuring systems of SIKO, compact single systems can be assembled. Thereby a resolution of up to 0,005 mm and a measuring accuracy of up to 0,05 mm is realisable.
Advantages of the magnetic measuring principle are, insensitive against dirt and a flexible magnetic tape. Also with adverse environmental influences, a successful operation and an individual application is guraranted.

With the magnetic distance- and angle industrial measuring systems of SIKO, compact single systems can be assembled.
Besides distance and angle also rotation can be recorded. Special sensors register the incremental segmentation of magnetic rings with a resoultion of up to 20.000 pulses per revolution. Advantages of the magnetic measuring principle are, insensitive against dirt and a flexible magnetic tape. Also with adverse environmental influences, a successful operation and an individual application is guaranted.

Lika magnetic rings are new products joining the magnetic measurement system range.
Different shapes, dimensions and custom-made versions are available.
The magnetic rings can be completely integrated on customer machine; they are available for diameter up to 500 mm and they can be mounted with any Lika sensor.
Thanks to its environmental features Lika magnetic rings can work in harsh conditions and even in presence of humidity or dirt.
The modular construction of sensor and ring allows to separate the rotary part from reading part.

® AMOSIN - general information
AMO's proven and original technology for length- and angle measurements uses techniques for scanning high precision graduations
consists of structures photo-lithographically etched onto steel. Based on this, inductive sensors with integrated evaluation electronics
(in ASIC) have been developed further, to create a new and powerful generation of industrial measuring systems.
® The AMOSIN length measuring systems are supplied in 2 principal versions: an open, non-contacting system, or as a guided,
encapsulated system.
® Operating entirely on an inductive basis, the AMOSIN systems achieve high precisions of up to +/- 5 µm/m, but are nevertheless
very well able to resist environmental influences such as dust, humidity and so for th, also featuring an extremely high resistance to
shock and vibration.
The high precision is mainly due to the procedure used to manufacture the rigid steel measuring tape, and to the exceptionally high
quality sensor signal, with deviations in the sine wave down to < 0.1 % harmonic content, as a measure of the achievable interpolation
precision within the grating pitch. |

The magnetic measurement system includes a sensor an electronic professional converter and a magnetic tape. The sensor head detects the position as it is moved over the magnetic tape. Magnetic rings are also available for rotary motion as alternative to linear magnetic tape. The measuring system is non-contacting and therefore wear-free.
Application areas are woodworking machines and sheet metal machines.
Some features are:
- IP67 protection level
- Reduced dimensions
- Resolution up to 1 mm
Low application cost is one of the system’s advantages. Moreover the system is protected against contamination and works even with strong vibrations, or in humid or dirty environment.
