With the magnetic distance- and angle measuring systems of SIKO, compact single systems can be assembled. Thereby a resolution of up to 0,005 mm and a measuring accuracy of up to 0,05 mm is realisable.
Advantages of the magnetic measuring principle are, insensitive against dirt and a flexible magnetic tape. Also with adverse environmental influences, a successful operation and an individual application is guraranted.

Besides distance and angle also rotation can be recorded. Special sensors register the incremental segmentation of magnetic rings with a resoultion of up to 20.000 pulses per revolution. Advantages of the magnetic measuring principle are, insensitive against dirt and a flexible magnetic tape. The magnetic measurement system includes a sensor an electronic converter and a magnetic tape. The sensor head detects the position as it is moved over the magnetic tape.
Magnetic rings are also available for rotary motion as alternative to linear magnetic tape. Different shapes, dimensions and custom-made versions are available.
The magnetic rings can be completely integrated on customer machine; they are available for diameter up to 500 mm and they can be mounted with any Lika sensor.
The measuring system is non-contacting and therefore wear-free.
Application areas are woodworking machines and sheet metal machines.

Series E Hand Held Test Measures:
The Seraphin® Series E test measure is manufactured of type 300 stainless steel. It is available in any capacity from 5 liters (1 US Gallon) to 40 liters (10 US Gallons).
