Linear spindle units
The linear spindle units feature high longitudinal load bearing capacity. Tapered thread spindles with self inhibition as well as ball-type linear drives of high precision are provided for the appropriate positioning tasks.
Timing belt - linear units
Dynamic tasks can nearly be solved without them. Toothed-belt linear units are fast and intended for inversion mode with short cycle times. The timing belts HD- and GT- quality reach highest precision when used for positioning jobs.
Toothed rack - linear units
In case of long strokes, spindles and timing belts cannot be utilized efficiently. This is the situation where the toothed rack accomplishes its purpose. Maximal 50 metres can be realised without lower accuracy.
Sliding and rolling guide
These linear units which are not driven are the ideal supplement for the driven units, e.g. if a supporting axle is required due to an eccentric load.
Heavy duty linear unit D-Line
Heavy loads have only be moved by linear axes made of steel components until now. The high dead weight, however, must often be moved too. This is unfavourable for the dynamics and the necessary motor size.

KK-Modules – Linear Modules with ballscrews
The HIWIN linear modules (KK-Modules) are compact positioning axes. The thrust is generated by a ballscrew, which is mounted in a drive flange ready-to-use by a motor. The BiSlide Belt Drive Assembly consists of a motor/gearbox, mounted 90 degrees to a linear dovetail stage. The motor/gearbox couples to a stainless steel pulley which drives a steel reinforced timing belt.
The belt drive assembly is useful for long travel and high speeds. Speeds as high as 3 meters per second can be achieved using direct drive motors and high powered controllers. For high resolution, gear reduction motors are available. The belt drive’s high efficiency make it an ideal choice for moving light loads at high speed and for continuous duty applications.
The belt driven BiSlide Assembly is available in many length up to 220 inches (5.6 meters). Maximum payload is 260 lb./118 kg. Repeatability is 0.0002”/0.005 mm. Straight-line accuracy is 0.007”/10” length or 0.018 mm/25cm. The coefficient of sliding friction is 0.09. Cross-sectional size is 3.175” (80 mm) x 4” (100 mm)
