Precolumn Amino Acid Analyzer OPA
modular amino acid analyzer system with automated precolumn OPA derivatization, optimized for the separation of physiological fluids with up to 30 AA
Ortho-phthaldialdehyde (OPA) is the most widely used fluorescent marker for amino acid analysis and can be used for completely automated analysis of protein hydrolysates as well as physiological fluids. The detection limit for primary amino acids is as low as 0.5 pmol, 20 times better than the ninhydrin method (secondary amino acids are not detected).
The system A0426-1 is identical to A0426 but is additionally optimized for the analysis of physiological fluids with more than 30 amino acids. This system is equipped with a more sophisticated autosampler for increased flexibility in derivatization and also features a separate column oven.
The consumables kit Y1000 contains all of the buffers, salts and reagents (in powder form) required for both A0426 and A0426-1.

ATI Models Q45H62 and Q45H63 are reagentless and designed for on-line monitoring and control of chlorination systems. It is available in two versions: a free chlorine monitor for drinking water and cooling water, and a combined chlorine monitor ideally suited for “chloraminated” drinking water. The combined chlorine system can also be used in wastewater effluents where sufficient ammonia is present prior to chlorination to result in a predominantly monochloramine residual. Unlike on-line colorimetric and most amperometric monitors, Q45H systems utilize a membrane-covered polarographic sensor that does not require the addition of chemical reagents. The Q45H system has no moving parts, so there are no pumps or motors that burn out or tubing breaks that create maintenance nightmares. All normal maintenance items are included with each system.
