The inoLab® BSB/BOD 740 laboratory oxygen meter has been specially developed for BODn measurements. BOD measurements are determined according to EN 1899-1 and are EPA approved.
You can store up to 7 of your own routines for frequently occurring dilution ratios. A maximum of 30 measuring samples each with 18 dilutions allow the management of up to 540 diluted samples.
The inoLab® BSB/BOD 740 can also be used as a conventional high-end oxygen meter. Additional memory and editing options are available when MultiLab® pilot is used. The entire measurement and sample management can thus be easily handled via PC.
In combination with StirrOx® G with its automatic start/stop function the inoLab® BSB/BOD 740 is the ideal measuring system for routine oxygen measurement in the BOD5 determination according to DIN EN 1899-1 and DIN EN 1899-2.
• Simple sample management
• Automatic BOD calculation
• EPA approved

Biochemical oxygen demand BOD determination is still one of the most important parameters in water resource management. It can be used to evaluate the impact of biodegradable substances in waters and waster water. With its OxiTop® systems, WTW offers a unique, modular and mercury-free instrument system. It is not only suitable for BOD determination, but also for measuring biodegradability and depletion.
In the course of growing environmental consciousness, microbiological degradability tests have become increasingly important. These can be, for example, soil surveys from waste sites or environmental impact surveys for new chemical substances. The necessary respiration measurements for anaerobic or aerobic degradation can be easily carried out using the OxiTop®-C systems with excellent analysis. WTW offers a wide range of application specific packages with appropriate sample vessels.
The advantages of OxiTop® and OxiTop® Control: simple operation, improved controllability and non-toxicity, and measuring ranges of up to 400 000 mg/l BOD (with OxiTop® Control OC 110). As the measured pressure is automatically converted the values can be directly read as mg/l BOD |

With new technology
The LDO oxygen probe and the pHD sc pH probe stand for superior technology. The LDO-Sensor determines the dissolved oxygen with an optical method, no more replacing of electrolyte or calibration. No electrode poisoning can occur because of the closed pHD sensor design. Less work and a longer service life in combination with gerater reliabilty translate into lower operating costs and appreciably more process dependabilty.
Wide range of applications
HACH LANGE probes can be installed in tanks, pipes or in bypasses - suitable mounting devices are available for every application.
By the application-specific design the probes can be exposed to aggressive fluids or high pressures.
The electrodes are kept separate from the sensitive digital electronics in an enclosure made of resistant plastic.

OX60
WPA's OX60 meter is based on proprietary Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design and uses a new low cost 12mm diameter galvanic DO probe that is easy to use. This compact meter is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.
OX100
The OX100 Dissolved oxygen meter is designed to overcome the traditional problems with field calibration and lack of reliability associated with many DO instruments.
|
|
| DO stands for Dissolved Oxygen, which is the measure of amount of gaseous oxygen dissolved in a solution. In theory, the amount of DO in a solution is dependent on 3 factors, namely temperature, salinity and atmospheric pressure. The measurement of DO requires a special DO electrode that is made up of an anode, a cathode, electrolyte solution and a gas permeable membrane. |
