Vertical Filter Separator
The Plenty Vertical Filter Separator will remove 100% of all droplets 8-10 microns and larger and 99.5% of all droplets ½-8 microns in size.
It will also remove 100% of all solid particles, 3 microns and larger 99% of all particles ½-3 microns in size.
These operating efficiencies apply over the entire flow range from maximum design down to virtually zero flow.
The first stage of the filter separator consists of a number of glass fibre coalescer /filter elements through which the wet gas passes.
The small liquid drops carried in the gas stream are trapped within the glass fibres of the element and coalesce to form drops 100 to 200 times larger than the original size.
These drops pass through the element wall and are carried forward by the gas stream to the second stage vane type separator.
The second stage consists of a vane type impingement separator, which operates exactly as described for vane separator.

PhaseSep® FR1 Liquid/Liquid Coalescer
Pall's PhaseSep® FR1 Series liquid / liquid coalescer is designed to directly retrofit Facet International coalescer vessels designed to hold tie-rod mount style liquid / liquid coalescers.
The Pall PhaseSep FR1 system is a multiple stage unit starting with preconditioning of the fluid with a Pall particulate filter followed by the PhaseSep FR1 coalescer. The preconditioning filter removes particulate matter to prolong the service life of the PhaseSep FR1 coalescer and initiates coalescence of the dispersed phase.
Pall preconditioning particulate filters are available in numerous configurations that can fit directly into your current prefilter housing. If
you do not have a prefilter installed,a system can be provided by Pall.
The PhaseSep FR1 Series coalescer utilizes the same proprietary PhaseSep medium that Pall employs when it sells new liquid / liquid coalescer systems. The FR1 series product allows customers to adopt Pall coalescer technology without the need to purchase new capital equipment.

The coalescer has been especially designed to remove free water from hydraulic circuits. Costeffective and simple in design, it functions without absorption material: special filter material in special configuration retains the small water droplets floating in the medium and removes them.

‘Becophase’ Liquid-Liquid Coalescers
For liquid/liquid separations we can offer either, Plate and Knitted Mesh coalescers in a wide range of materials. Depending upon the requirement they can be used solely or in combination to separate a wide range mechanically induced emulsions. Hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials are available to achieve desired separation results. All separator packs are built to customer specifications or performance requirements and designed for high efficiency and long reliable service. Turnkey packaged liquid/liquid separator systems are also available.

Lypore® Unity Liquid/Gas and Liquid/Liquid Coalescing media grades are optimized for efficient separation of water from liquids or oil mist and water from air streams All grades are constructed with the proven technology of borosilicate microfiberglass that offers the highest level of coalescence at the lowest pressure drop. Our fluoropolymer oil and water repellency treatment processes ensure exacting separation of target compounds and long element life. Lypore® Unity grades can be pleated or wrapped and are available in a wide range of efficiencies, repellency levels, and binders.

The HILCO ceramic membrane system is an ideal way to lower your oily-water waste disposal costs. The filtration system utilizes high-velocity fluid “crossflow” across the face of the membrane. The oil-free water passes through the ceramic membrane while the oily waste is concentrated in a process reservoir. Depending on the particular waste stream disposal, volumes can be reduced as much as 20x. The system is designed to accept three different micron-rated membranes (0.2 µm, 0.01 µm, and 0.005 µm) in order to meet all specific local discharge ordinances.
Features and Benefits include:
• High Packing Density
• Broad PH Range of 2-13
• Resistant to Thermal Shock
• Back Flushable
• Immune to Chlorine Attack
• Durable Ceramic Extends Lifetime
• High Surface Area to Unit Volume
• Compact Design
