Implementation of the PURON® Technology: Submerged Hollow Fiber Modules
In a commercial system the individual fiber bundles are connected in rows. Several of these rows are mounted in a stainless steel frame forming a membrane module. The PURON® module is available in standard sizes of 1500, 500 and 250 square meters of membrane area. The design of the PURON® module was specially developed to meet the extremely tough requirements of a membrane bioreactor (MBR) when utilized in wastewater treatment.

The ULTRA-COR® module from KMS:
• Accommodates high solid density materials through multiple ½" diameter tubular membranes
• Resists plugging from high solids concentrate
• Withstands high operating temperatures, pH extremes, abrasive particles and has superior chemical stability
• Forgiving of system upsets
• Is easy to clean; Does not require flow reversal.
• Compact design, utilizing seven ½" diameter tubules inside each 1¼" diameter shell
ULTRA-COR® membranes are available from KMS as replacements in existing systems and for new systems. They can retrofit a 1" FEG™ tube, with certain modifications. They are available in 5' and 10' lengths.

KMPT has further developed the process of Dynamic Crossflow Filtration. In this process rotating ceramic or polymere discs generate a turbulent differential speed of the feed. This effectively prevents the development of clogging layers which obstruct the filtration. Energy savings of up to 80 % are the key benefits of this new method. The possibility of processing a higher concentration of the retentate to viscosities of 700 mPas opens up new fields of application. The user therefore benefits from technical solutions for his specific problems as well as a process which offers better economic efficiency.

For Wastewaters containing oily emulsions or very fine suspended solids, Sanborn’s Ultrafiltration Membrane Systems have proven to be the most reliable treatment solution. Sanborn’s Tubular UF Systems are easy to use and maintain and use less energy and do not generate the airborne pollution that evaporators do.
UFV250 Systems
The UFV250/500 is a tank mounted compact system. Processing up to 500 gpd, these systems can reduce waste up to 98% without the use of chemicals. Typical applications include filtration of spent coolants and emulsified coolant oil contaminated wastewater, mop water, vibratory waste solutions and compressor blowdown.
UFV750 Systems
The UFV750/1500 is a tank mounted compact system. Processing up to 1500 gpd, these systems can reduce waste up to 98% without the use of chemicals. As with the UFV250, typical applications include emulsified oil removal from spent coolants, filtration of mop water, vibratory waste solutions and compressor blowdown.
High Capacity UF Systems
Sanborn Technologies' high capacity UF systems employ wide-channel (1/2") tubular membrane technology to separate water from suspended solids and emulsified oils. With process rates up to 6000 gpd, these membrane systems are delivered pre-assembled complete with controls for easy installation.
PUFS-E - The Simple Solution for small wastewater generators
Sanborn Technologies pioneered the use of small spiral membrane systems on oily wastewater over two decades ago with the PUFS-E. The PUFS-E eliminates up to 98% of the water in oily wastewater mixtures. Operating on top of it's own 55 gallon tank, the PUFS-E can process up to 50 gallons per day.

The structure of the membrane filter is simple, it is sealed with a silicone rubber close circle and bolt between the top cover and the body. Inside the membrane filter core is fixed to the diaphragm. The filter is divided into two for an initial water room and a purification room, there are inlets and outlets, or outfalls. Material can be selected for 316L (304L) stainless steel.
Applications
1. liquid filtration
-the pharmaceutical industry, various syrup filters, injection water injections saline injections without filtration.
-industrial water, water, gas water clarify degerming.
-beverage, food, brewing industry filter.
-electronics, optical lens grinding high water.
-the chemical industry pH liquid filtration Alcohol recovery.
2. gas filter
-the pharmaceutical industry, acidic gases, dry dust.
