The majority of distribution systems are designed to an ultimate circuit rating (lcu). An lcu rated MCCB provides the optimum protection in terms of safe and economical selection.
Certain applications may require protection wich is designed to the more onerous service short circuit rating (lcu).
Terasaki's TemBreak Plus range can provide a wide choice of MCCBs with superior lcs ratings up to 85kA at 440V AC.
lcu=o-co 2 full short circuits
lcs=o-co-co 3 full short circuit
All TemBreak Plugin and drawout MCCBs are fitted with a safety trip as standard. If an attempt is made to remove an MCCB while ON it will automatically trip.
The neutral pole of all TemBreak MCCBs are of early make / late break design. This eliminates the risk of abnormal line to neutral voltages which may damage sensitive electronic equipment.
TemBreak MCCBs from 125AF to 1600AF are suitable for isolation as defined by IEC 947-2. Positive Contact Indication (PCI) is achieved via the toggle mechanism. Padlocks can only be installed if the contacts are fully open or closed.

The TemBreak series offers the models of the 800A to 1600A frames with the breaking capacity up to 125 kA, and this series consists of thermal adjustable type and electronic type that allows you to select the most suitable breaker for your system
Features of the TemBreak Electronic Moulded Case Circuit Breaker:
- Long time delay trip, short time delay trip, and instantaneous trip are available as standard.
- All of long time delay trip, short time delay trip, pretrip alarm, and ground fault trip can be adjusted. The rated current can be adjusted in a range between 50% and 100%. For short time delay trip, ramp characteristics can be selected with the switch to enable selective coordination with lower breakers and fuses.
- The multi-protective device uses the r.m.s. value control. It samples peak current every 0.5msec. to calculate a root-mean-square value. Therefore, harmonics up to 19 th harmonic are accurately detected at 50 Hz to prevent any malfunction from occurring due to harmonics.

Residual current circuit breakers EFI are used for protection against indirect touching of parts under voltage, for
prevention of lasting voltage on earthed parts which should appear because of a defect in the electrical installation
and for protection against direct contacts of parts under voltage in case of I < 30mA. Residual current circuit breakers
can be used in TN-S, TN-C, TT and IT network systems or with other words in all systems where neutral and protective
conductor are separated (VDE 0100 Teil 410).
Types - Our programme comprises residual current circuit breakers which are sensitive to alternating residual current
(AC-type) and residual current circuit breakers which are sensitive to alternating and pulsating direct current (A-type).

Yaskawa SF6 gas rotary-arc circuit breakers are rated for applications in power generating plants, substations, and industrial plants at 3.6kV to 15kV. Yaskawa SF6 gas rotary-arc circuit breakers are safer to operate than vacuum and other competitive types because a two-stage pressure switch in each of the interrupters continuously monitors the gas pressure. This series of Yaskawa SF6 gas rotary-arc circuit breakers offer excellent interrupting characteristics, comparable to air-magnetic breakers, with continuous current ranging from 600 to 3000 amps. In addition, the surgeless nature of the current interruption eliminates the need for surge arrestors to dampen voltage spikes related to current chopping and switching surges. This feature makes the Yaskawa SF6 gas rotary-arc circuit breakers ideal for the protection of motors, capacitors, and transformers. This series of circuit breakers conforms to applicable ANSI, IEC and JEC st
