Axial movements (longitudinal) appear in many transport applications and feedings.
To limit longitudinal forces and prevent damages RINGSPANN developes special force limiters.
Forces up to a certain value can be transmitted in both directions completely free of play and rigid. On exceeding the preset disengaging force the power of the force is interrupted and the output part is no longer driven. After the overload has been cleared the driving part and the driven part are aligned towards each other and the force limiter reengages automatically.

The indicator of weighing multichannel standard G4-PM developed by Vishay Nobel grew rich by a new special software for overhead travelling cranes and answering the European recommendations of standard FEM 9.755.
Goatskin bottles the traditional functions of weighing of G4, it will be possible to manage the sensors individually, to carry out the sum and the difference between sensors, to manage the loads raised by principal lifting, but also by auxiliary lifting, and to control the various movements of the overhead travelling crane: Lifting, translation, displacement.
The G4-PM will record then:
Office pluralities of the raised loads
Raised maximum loadings
Detections of overloads (number and duration)
Times of uses of the various movements and their number
Times of use of auxiliary lifting
Detections of levels (32 maximum.) with time and durations
All this information then is taken again and calculated according to a formula given by standard FEM 9.755 and is compared with the rated capacity of the overhead travelling crane.
This information then makes it possible to calculate the cycles of preventive maintenances of the overhead travelling crane according to recommendation FEM 9.755.

FEATURES
T050E is a weight transmitter amplifier microcontroller based. Four push buttons and one display that shows the guide messages, help the operator in the configuration and weight calibration.
T050E is equipped with two serial lines, a primary bi-directional line and an auxiliary one with transmission only.
The primary is available in RS232 or in RS485 mode to operate in multidrop network. ADOS has implemented as standard both the logic protocol MODBUS and PROFIBUS-DP by the gateway IPBUS1 (option). On T050E is also available an analog output that can be configured for 0-10 V or 4-20 mA. One or four relays, according to version, can be associated to a function required by the application. In the overload control modality (option) the instrument can be associated to category 1 as a security device (UNI EN 954-1 12-98 norm). A new load cell signal averaging method FIR, linearization and user friendly approach are the best characteristics of this transmitter.

The AGI EOAT load limiter mounts between the robot wrist and the tooling to protect the robot in an overload condition or collision. The AGI pneumatic actuator load-limiter is a dynamically variable load limiter that operates on an air pressure system. A regulated air supply provides positive, variable pressure to hold the load rigid during normal operation. At impact, the air chamber seal is opened, while the shut down signal is immediately sent to the system controller.
With AGI EOAT load limiters, production and assembly lines run longer, expensive robots and tools are protected and costly system repairs are drastically reduced on end of arm tooling.
