Description
The Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik coordinate measuring systems meet all of the requirements placed on high measuring accuracy, precise movement, easy operation and flexible use.
Their efficiency is due to a variety of factors: a stable basic unit, excellent optics, various probe and laser systems, flexibly usable sensors and a fast, universal control system. The sturdy granite construction guarantees a rigidity, and thus ensures the system's insensitivity towards mechanical and thermal influences. Contactless measuring scales guarantee backlash-free operation and high measuring accuracy.
The measuring stages are motordriven, the speed of the CNC control can be adapted to the respective function. Moreover, the measuring stage is electronically corrected in all axes; this calibration can be checked at any time and corrected if necessary. The telecentric optics and diode light - with programmable intensity and adapted angle of incidence - are specially coordinated to each other. This eases the measuring of complicated workpieces and even of pieces with low contrast - also in incident light.

Integrated Color LTV Sensors : The integrated color LTV sensors combine a photodiode, color filter, and transimpedance amplifier on a single die. The output is then fed to an ADC for digital processing. TAOS’ solution requires fewer components, saves board space and reduces assembly cost over a discrete photodiode approach. TAOS’ solution also simplifies design and board layout because sensitive analog circuitry is integrated on-chip, which also improves the noise immunity. The Color LTV devices are ideal for applications such as colorimetry, printing process control, display color correction, and selectively ambient light detection or rejection.

Faults in welding tongs or incorrect process parameters in welding can result in production line waste or defective parts. Checking the electrode force periodically permits spark malfunctions to be detected at an early stage so that repairs can be carried out in good time.
The new Type 9833A test sensor allows precise and reliable measurements to be carried out with minimal electrode gaps. The built-in charge amplifier simplifies the task of mounting and helps to ensure the reliability required by the automobile industry.

The quality of spot welding depends on the force applied by the electrodes as well as on the intensity of the welding current. Within such a control program, the measurement of the force applied by the electrodes is extremely important for ensuring constant production.
That is why we have developed this equipment to measure the closing force of the grips that may be used during the final stage or during periodic maintenance. The end-pieces are interchangeable and can be used to measure force with various shapes of electrodes, the minimum closing dimension being 0.12 in.
This new instrument leverages the robustness, quality and precision of the Centor instrument family, which are specially designed for mobile use in a production workshop.

Testweld™ Hand Held Electronic Force Gauge
An ergonomically designed hand held force gauge.
ADVANTAGES
User comfort "'Ergonomically" designed - for ease of use
One piece unit
Very high accuracy
Swivel head allows access to difficult to reach positions
As with all welding procedures, it is important to eliminate as many variables as possible in order to achieve optimum welding consistently over long periods.
Electrode force is one of the critical parameters in obtaining repeatable, reliable resistance spot welds.
Force can vary because of variable factory air pressure, water in the air lines causing air cylinders to deteriorate and loss of air pressure due to worn seals.
This self contained instrument uses a cell with a force sensor to provide accurate digital read out for auditing weld electrode forces.
Accuracy of this instrument is better than 0.2% and can be switched to read 0-2000 kg, 0-20.00 kN or 0-4400lbs.
In cases of difficult access the head of the swivel head gauge can be swiveled at least ±72º up or down and rotates at least ±90º. Once the desired position is reached it can be fixed by a simple hand tightened knob. A 90 mm long handle is provided for optional use with 2 mountain positions either in-line or at 90º.
A support wrist strap is attached to the gauge so that in the event that it is forced out of the operators hand by misaligned electrodes, it need not fall to the floor and be damaged.

Hydro-Probe II (HP02)
Digital sensor for accurate measurement of moisture in flowing materials such as concrete, sand and aggregates in bins, chutes or conveyor belts
Hydro-Probe II Moisture Sensor for Bins, Chutes and Conveyor Belts
The Hydro-Probe II (HP02) was the first moisture sensor to use the digital microwave moisture measurement technique. It has integral signal processing which provides a linear output (both digital and analogue) and it can easily be connected to any control system. Typical applications include sand, cement, concrete, asphalt and aggregates, but the Hydro-Probe II has also been successfully installed in processing plants for grain, cereal, animal feed and aqua feed.
Designed for use in processing plants which use bins (silos), chutes and conveyor or feed belts, the sensor is positioned into the flow of material. Measurements are taken 25 times per second as the material passes over or around the sensor head, meaning that the sensor can rapidly detect changes in moisture levels. Real time adjustments to the moisture content of the material can then be made during processing if required. This ensures that the manufacturer can continually produce a consistent, quality product and reduce costs by limiting the amount of wasted or spoilt materials.
The sensor can be installed in a variety of locations where there is a flow of material. Some typical examples can be found on our installations page. A range of accessories are available including extension mounting sleeves and clamp rings to assist with fitting.

Our 30000 Series fixed set-point flow switches have factory-preset settings. The many features and the adjustability found on our other models have been designed out.
Their compact size and basic profile results in low cost switches that can be mounted where space is limited. This makes them popular for OEM applications where
simple flow switch actuation is required.
Designed for in-line use, the fluid enters the end connection and exits the side port. As the fluid passes through the unit it pushes against a spring-loaded
piston magnet sensor. As the sensor magnet moves into proximity of the reed switch the switch is actuated.

Thermocouple Capacitance Welders:
Although thermocouple hot junctions are frequently made by twisting a pair of conductors together by hand, this is not considered good practise when accurate and reliable measurements are required.
When validating pharmaceutical autoclaves and liophilizers or temperature mapping process vessels, it is necessary to use thermocouples that have a properly formed homogenous hot junction. This can only be achieved by fusing the two conductors together in a welding process.
The SR Series of capacitance welding machines are an economical solution for producing hot junctions that are able to provide sustained and reliable temperature measurement. The units are based on the capacitance discharge principal and are designed for bench mounting and portable use, operating from a 100/110V or 220/240V AC supply.
