ASO´s Safety contact mat ASK is designed for safeguarding sections of hazardous areas where working machinery may present a potential danger.
Pressure on the mat triggers a control signal to immediately stop a device thereby averting any potentially dangerous situations. The quick-action signal is sent via a surface area switch design that is totally encased in polyurethane to insure impermeability to moisture. Optional surface materials such as aluminium, stainless steel or oil resistant coverings are available to ensure precise installation. In special cases these contact mats may be used as switch mats in applications such as controlling on automatic door.

|
|
To protect persons against risks of this kind, pressure sensitive safety mats are employed. At devices such as machines, machining centres, presses, robot cells, high-shelf warehouses and many others, safety mats immediately switch off the power source, when the mat is stepped on. As long as the person stays on the mat, the machine cannot be set back into operation.

Safety contact rails are commonly used as break contacts on printing rollers and cutting machines. The rails consists of an aluminium support profile, C-profile, into which is fixed a rubber profile contact strip.
Bumpers are employed on automatic production lines to minimise danger to both people and machines. The large foam rubber cushions enable long practical braking and run through distances, thus enabling designers to optimise protection to both personnel and machines.
The ASK Safety Mat is used as personal protection within the dangerous areas around presses, robots, production lines, machines etc. When connected to a suitable monitoring system stepping on the Safety Mat will immediately be detected causing dangerous machine movements to be stopped. This is made possible by the detection of electrical contacts closing within the sandwich construction of the Mat.

Couplings Reduce Vibration, Absorb Shock and Compensate for Misalignment.
The Lovejoy G-Type Flexible Grid Coupling reduces vibration by as much as 30%, and cushions shock loads to safeguard your driving and driven equipment. The flexible nature of the spring-like grid absorbs impact energy by spreading it out over time, thus reducing the magnitude of the peak loads. This is possible because of the progressive contact that occurs between the curved profile of the hub teeth and the flexible grid. Therefore, as the load increases, more of the tooth comes into contact with the grid, thus supplying superior protection and supreme performance.
Lovejoy G-Type Flexible Grid Couplings are designed for versatility. Common hubs and grids are used within a given size range for both horizontal and vertical split cover models. Grid installation and replacement is a “snap” at only a fraction of the complete coupling cost.

As all the WOLFANGEL plants, the mat impregnating plants are robust in construction. They are particularly suitable for big surface GRP parts, e.g. parts for hulls, for swimming pools or in container construction. This plant can also be used as impregnating bath supply for winding plants. Resin and catalyst are pumped by piston pumps that are connected to each other via a dosing lever so that the dosing between resin and catalyst is always exact, independent of the delivery speed of the pumps. The standard capacity is 7 kg per minute. Of course, the output can be increased even more by the installation of respective pumps so that the processing with several mat impregnating lances is possible.
After use, the remaining material is pressed out of the tool by air pressure. The flushing is effected by means of an air/acetone mixture.

Application:
Optoelectronic safety device are used as entry, danger point or danger zone guards.
SLG/SLC range safety light grids and light curtains can be integrated into the safety concept of the machine or plant even under tight space conditions by virtue of their very compact design.
These safety devices are also often used on presses to guard danger points or zones. Depending on the paticular resolution of the safety light grids and curtains, protection of persons, hands or even fingers can be provided. SLG/SLC range safety light grids and light curtains achieve Control Category 4 to EN 954-1.
Design and mode of operation:
On the SLB/SLC/SLG ranges of optoelectronic safety devices, the emitter and receiver are fitted in two separate enclosures. An invisible infra-red signal is sent from the emitter and this is picked up by the lens system of the receiver and evaluated either by an integral or external safety monitoring module. If the light beam is interrupted, the secure outputs are switched.
All of the optoelectronic safety devices listed here are maintenance-free and are characterised by simple fitting and adjustment.

The angular grippers series 1 and 2 exist in 4 sizes, classified by the diameter of their piston. This allows to have a varied range, going from the NMA16 (small dimensions - compactness ) to the NMA51 with large clamping force.
Tightening self-locking
The actuation of the fingers is "in corner effect" with sliding motion in curved grooves developing a gripping force very significant and progressive until direct mechanical self-locking in closing. It results the best power/mass ratio, necessary for the robotics applications.
Protection
The NMA grippers are entirely closed (gripping side) by static joints, and a constant contact on the particular profile of the fingers is opposed to the penetrations of aggressive agents. With the V option, a pressurisation at the right of these joints improve this protection.
Dissymmetrical efforts
Being self-directional directly in front of the jaws on cylindrical range, the NMA can absorb any radial effort, in particular during assembly of dissymmetrical jaws in form or length.
Force increased on 1 finger
The originality above allows versions with 1 locked or single jaws; the gripping force normally distributed on 2 jaws is deferred entirely on only 1, doubling it appreciably.
The modular combination of several grippers with single jaws can satisfy the gripping of bulky parts.

Since more than 25 years, New-Mat has developed and marketed its own series of grippers. It is declined now in several series, which several sizes and alternatives are available, thus allowing to answer to a lot of different applications.

The parallel grippers series 1 and 2 currently exist in 4 sizes, classified by the diameter of their piston.
This allows to have a varied energy range of thightening, from NMG16 for compactness, to NMG52 with large clamping force.
Rigorously parallel tightening
Each finger is interdependent from a slide actuated by 2 pinions, guaranteeing a rigorously parallel displacement, without effect of wedging, reducing the load on the guide.
Fonctional take-up clearance
The functional clearance on guides can be modified with tightening of the top cover.,
Protection
NMG grippers are entirel closed (gripping side) with a cover and side tubes with reduced gap.
Dissymmetrical efforts
Being self-directional directly in the mechanism of the fingers on cylindrical range, the NMG can absorb any radial effort, in particular during assembly of dissymmetrical fingers in form or length.
Force increased on 1 finger
The originality above allows the versions 1 locked or single jaw; the gripping force normally distributed on 2 fingers is deferred entirely on 1 only, doubling it appreciably.

It is well known that slips, trips and falls are the most common causes of over 3 day accidents in many industries. Stairways, ladders, ramps, shower and dressing rooms are all potential areas of risk. This results in painful falls and accidents that account for operating costs amounting to € millions for injury damages and accidents at work.
Many of these risks can be prevented by implementing durable antislip surfacing. Antislip surfaces reduce slip trip and fall accident rates helping keep down compensation claims and insurance premiums.
All Antislip surfacing is durable, versatile and have been developed to provide effective, consistent and repeatable high performance levels over a long in service life.
