ASTEEL SENSOR's sensitive mats are complete safety electric systems which integrate a sensor and an automatic control module.
ASTEEL SENSOR's mats are particularly fit in with applications such as : robots, machines, assembly lines, vertical storage warehouses.
The ASTEEL SENSOR choice :
- The system is independent from atmospheric pressure, temperature and vibrations.
- A 4 wires technology ensures the redundancy of the safety chain
- Possibility to connect several sensitive mats on the same automatic control module.
- Sensitive mats are available either with standard dimensions or on-measure according to your specifications

Safety contact rails are commonly used as break contacts on printing rollers and cutting machines. The rails consists of an aluminium support profile, C-profile, into which is fixed a rubber profile contact strip.
Bumpers are employed on automatic production lines to minimise danger to both people and machines. The large foam rubber cushions enable long practical braking and run through distances, thus enabling designers to optimise protection to both personnel and machines.
The ASK Safety Mat is used as personal protection within the dangerous areas around presses, robots, production lines, machines etc. When connected to a suitable monitoring system stepping on the Safety Mat will immediately be detected causing dangerous machine movements to be stopped. This is made possible by the detection of electrical contacts closing within the sandwich construction of the Mat.

An Omron STI Universal Safety Mat system (UM series safety mat combined with an MC3, MC4, or MC6) offers a simple method for guarding personnel around hazardous machines. A safety mat system offers freedom, flexibility, and reduced operator fatigue when compared with traditional guarding methods such as interlocked fences, pullback restraints or perimeter barriers. Full visibility of and access to the work area is maintained.

ASO´s Safety contact mat ASK is designed for safeguarding sections of hazardous areas where working machinery may present a potential danger.
Pressure on the mat triggers a control signal to immediately stop a device thereby averting any potentially dangerous situations. The quick-action signal is sent via a surface area switch design that is totally encased in polyurethane to insure impermeability to moisture. Optional surface materials such as aluminium, stainless steel or oil resistant coverings are available to ensure precise installation. In special cases these contact mats may be used as switch mats in applications such as controlling on automatic door.

Bircher Reglomat contact mats are tactile sensors that form safety systems of safety category 3, when used together with our switching units of the ESD-3 series. They fulfil the standards EN954-1 and EN1760-1.
The mats serve to detect people and objects, safeguard danger zones or can also be used as a switching element for comfort applications.
Due to their sturdy construction and high response sensitivity, Bircher Reglomat contact mats are specifically suited for applications in industry, in door/industrial door construction and in public transport. They are available in different shapes and designs, including the complete mounting accessories.

Whether for machines, robots or transfer lines - Mayser Safety Mats offer maximum protection for hazardous areas of movement ror any shape of area.
Depending on requirements, there are safety mats with rubber surface topping for anti-slip protection and/or to avoid the danger of tripping - also with matching ramp rails.

To protect persons against risks of this kind, pressure sensitive safety mats are employed. At devices such as machines, machining centres, presses, robot cells, high-shelf warehouses and many others, safety mats immediately switch off the power source, when the mat is stepped on. As long as the person stays on the mat, the machine cannot be set back into operation.

Since more than 25 years, New-Mat has developed and marketed its own series of grippers. It is declined now in several series, which several sizes and alternatives are available, thus allowing to answer to a lot of different applications.
|
|
The angular pliers series 1 and 2 currently exist in 4 sizes, classified by the diameter of their piston.
This makes it possible to have a varied range energy of pliers NMA16 to compactness with pliers NMA51 with large clamping force.
Choose your model for more details...
Tightening self-locking
The actuation of the fingers is "for purpose of corner" per system with sliding motion in curved grooves developing a gripping force very important and progressive until direct mechanical self-locking in closing. It results the best power report/ratio from it on mass, necessary for the robotic applications.
Protector
The NMA are entirely closed with dimensions gripping by static seals, a constant contact on the particular profile of the fingers being opposed to the penetrations aggressive agents. With the option V, a pressurization with the right of these seals supplements this protector.
Dissymmetrical efforts
Being self-directional directly vis-a-vis the fingers on cylindrical range, the NMA can absorb any radial effort, in particular during assembly of dissymmetrical bits in form or length.
Force increased on 1 finger
The originality above allows the versions 1 blocked or single finger; the gripping force normally distributed on 2 fingers is deferred entirely on 1 only, doubling it appreciably.
The modular combination several pliers with single finger can satisfy the gripping of bulky parts.

The pliers parrallèles series 1 and 2 currently exist in 4 sizes, classified by the diameter of their piston.
This makes it possible to have a varied range energy of pliers NMG16 to compactness with pliers NMG52 with large clamping force.
Rigorously parallel tightening
Each finger is interdependent of a slide actuated by 2 sprocket wheels of direction opposed to the bevel gearbox guaranteeing a rigorously parallel displacement, without effect of wedging reducing the load on the shoes of guidance.
Play take-up
The functional play on the shoes can be modified according to tightening of the cap of end, in particular for the correction of wear.
Protector
Pliers NMG are entirely closed dimension gripping by cap and side tubes with reduced type font.
Dissymmetrical efforts
Being self-directional directly in the mechanism of the fingers on cylindrical range, the NMG can absorb any radial effort, in particular during assembly of dissymmetrical bits in form or length.
Force increased on 1 finger

Series 1/Series 2
The pliers of series 1 and 2 are a common range préhenseurs being different by the direction from tightening:
Exclusively in closing - tightening on tree - for series 1 or conversely in opening - gripping on boring - for series 2.
Series 3
Series 3 is an evolution of the preceding series which can from now on function indifferently without intervention in closing ou/et in opening - tightening on tree or boring - In addition the pliers of series 3 are adapted to the system of control Autotact news generation with memory of positions of the fingers. These pliers are assembled mechanically instead of series 1 and 2
ISO series
The new range of pliers ISO series is provided with one of interface meeting the ISO standard 9409-1: 2004 allowing him to be easily and quickly adapted and fixed on any industrial robot. The pliers of the ISO series are also adapted to the system of control Autotact news generation with memory of positions of the fingers (identical to that of series 3).

The MAT model is Biddle's state of the art air curtains since, from a technological point of view. This is the most advanced air curtain that has been developed so far.
Separating the climates between the coldstore and the ambient area, where temperature differences of 40°C may occur, without blocking the passage. The MAT Air Curtain:
- saves energy (up to 80%)
- improves temperature maintenance in cold stores
- provides free access and fast logistics
- prevents misting and icing in cold stores
The MAT air curtain produces 3 air streams of different temperature and humidity parallel to each other. This makes that the door can be left open and that the temperature in both the cold store and the ambient area remains constant. As no moisture is exchanged any longer, there will be no more ice depositing on walls, floors, ceilings and cooling systems either, which reduces the risk of slipping. In addition, fork lift truck drivers have an unobstructed view. As the door stays open, transport can take place faster. And, as a result of the reduced icing, the cooling system requires much less maintenance. All this put together leads to increased efficiencies and cost savings.
Benefits:
- No misting
- No icing up
- Open door: Faster transport
- Energy savings
- Increased safety
