The FPSC Fiessler Programmable Safety Center is a programmable electronic safety for personal protection, i.e. for safety functions. The FPSC complies with the highest safety requirements:
- SK1 through SK 4 according to EN 954-1
- SIL 1 through SIL 3 according to EN IEC 61508
- PL a through PL e according to prEN 13849-1
The product family FPSC provides maximum flexibility within its hardware and software structure. The FPSC - AD version offers the possibility to connect decentralized I/O modules via the implemented safety bus. This guarantees a modular system design that offers flexibility therefore reducing the costly and often elaborate configuration of the safe system bus.
The safety-related functions are programmable by using pre-assembled and tested software modules. The chaining
is made by simple assignment of input , i.e. output adresses. Intermediate data are stored in the temporary storage. There are various ready-to-use software modules at your disposal. For the communication with a superior control, i.e. for the operating sequence control or technology control, a serial interface is provided. The transfer of data for visualizing as well as the transfer of machine-relevant data can de realised via this interface.
The simple snap-on mechanism for fastening the items on the DIN rail in the switch cabinet considerably reduces the installation expenditure of the items of the product family.

| Pluto Safety-PLC from Jokab Safety is a new ”All-masters” safety-PLC concept, which simplifies the design of safety-systems. The Pluto concept provides highest safety level according to category 4 EN 954-1. Pluto can provide an economic solution for both a single machine and big machine systems. The key difference with the Pluto-concept is that there is no Master-Slave relationship of the control units connected to the safety-bus. Every Pluto is a Master unit and it sees the other Pluto´s inputs and outputs and can use their information to make decisions about it´s own safety. This enables simple communication and simple alterations of the safety system. With our Gateway, the information from the Pluto safety-bus can be transfered to other bus-systems creating larger networks. |

General Description
The VPCLS2 is a single-chip-solution for PROFIBUS-DP (EN50170) in the area of digital I/Os. There is no external micro-controller necessary. The VPCLS2 is pin- and function compatible with the existing LSPM2 circuit from Siemens.

Eaton's Fusion Integrated Machine Controller has advanced features, including a five-preset high speed counter with prewarn, a totalizer with preset, a batch counter with preset and a ratemeter (tachometer) with high and low setpoints. Unique to the count control world, the Fusion has five output relays, along with two transistors and two analog setpoint or follower outputs. Its ten available parameter sets of pre-loaded values are useful as recipes, for job-stacking or for a variety of application-specific purposes.
The Fusion has a multi-line alphanumeric display which can be programmed to show text messages, logic-generated prompts, alarms and machine status. Up to eight screens can be shown or optionally locked out.
With its ladder logic, the Fusion is actually a 26 I/O controller, making it a complete control for many machines and processes, integrating the functions of external timers, pushbuttons, power supplies, indicating lights, control relays and other components in a single box. |

These are advanced controls offering the ramp/soak programmability with PID control outputs.. It is possible to control the temperature as per the desired rate of heating / cooling with the required soaking time. Different models offers different features with the facility to program 1 to 10 patterns of sixteen ramp/soak steps, which can be permanently stored in the internal non-volatile memory. The controller accepts Thermocouple or Pt-100 or mV/mA signal as the input and provides control output in the form of DC pulse, 4-20mA, 0-5V etc.. to operate various control devices such as Relay, Contactors, Motorized valves, Thyristor power pack etc...
All the models are available with serial RS485 output on MODBUS protocol and can be hooked to the computer. The supporting window based software allows programming of controller through PC as well as for on-line monitoring and storage of ramp/soak heating cycles. DESCRIPTION:
Libratherm offers Microprocessor based Eight Zone PID Temperature indicator / Controller (Model PRC-8000)where accurate temperature control of multiple zone during Gradual Heating and Cooling is required. Each zone can be independently programmed for 16 steps of Ramp/Soak profile. Each loop parameters like PID, Hysteresis, Deviation Hold, Facility to skip unused channel etc can be programmed from the user-friendly front panel membrane keyboard.
PRC 8000 accepts 8 Thermocouples or RTD(Pt-100)3 wire inputs and can provide switching PID or ON/OFF Control output in the form of DC Pulses or SSR or relay to drive external load contactors. It can simultaneously provide 8 analog PID control outputs in the form of (4-20)mA or (0-5)volt, which can be used to control heater power through Thyristor power pack.
PRC-8000 is ideally suited for on line pre and post welding heat treatment cycle. Where the large size jobs are heated by local heating pads. Temperatures are sensed using 6 to 8 K type thermocouples fitted at different points. The common program is run for all inputs and to ensure the uniform heating cycle, the PRC-8000 offers special feature of common or individual deviation hold facility, thereby the guaranteed ramp/soak controlled is achieved. Libratherm offers ready to use panel with input/output and supply connections.
The serial interface of RS-485 in Modbus protocol is also available for operating the controller from remote computer, SCADA or DCS system. |
