The Proximity Laser Scanner FLSC is a scanning distance sensor. With it, persons and objects can be recognized inside a defined protection field.
A pencilled LASER beam is deflected by a rotating mirror. With it, a
circular area with a aperture angle of 180o and a radius of approx. 15 m is scanned.
The semicircular area is divided in two recognition areas:
Personal protective recognition area: Radius 4m
Object recognition area: Radius 15 m
In every recognition area a protective field can be fixed. The form of the protective field is independently eligible resp. programmable: The delivered with communication software enables to fix the form of the respective protective field with a PC on your own. The coordinates of the protective fields are saved in the Proximity Laser Scanner FLSC. The Proximity Laser Scanner FLSC compares themeasured datas with the saved protective fields, and recognizes, if a object is in a protective field.
If the emitting beam meets a object inside the working field (person or thing ),he will be reflected. A part of the reflected diffuse radiation is collected by the receiving part of the Proximity Laser Scanner FLSC.

Optoelectronic safety device are used as entry, danger point or danger zone guards.
LS 30 range safety laser scanners detect invisibly and without physical contact over an angle of 190° and are mainly utilised as hazardous zone guards. The zone to be guarded can be individually definded, i.e. to suit the particular case, by means of user-oriented software. Up to two pairs of protection and warning zones can be monitored without the need for an additional safety monitoring module. By virtue of conventional means to guard the dangerous zone is either only realisable at the cost of high outlay or even completely impracticable, such as on pipe-bending machines, industrial robots and automated guided vehicles (AGV). LS 30 safety laser scanners achieve Control Categroy 3 to EN 954-1.

The ROTOSCAN RS4-4E is a non-contact optical area scanner. Like a radar laser scanners permanently scan the complete field of work in an angle of 190° and a radius of several meters and so monitor a two-dimensional area. Within this work area independent detection and warning zones can be programmed with a PC software. Persons entering the detection zones will be detected and an emergency stop signal will be generated for machinery.
The applications of the ROTOSCAN RS4 4E are the protection of persons by vertically safeguarding danger points and access as well as danger area guarding at stationary machines and mobile systems.

|
Laser scanners are used for non-contact monitoring of a freely programmable area. No separate reflectors are required. Installation is simple because the sender and receiver are accommodated in a single housing.

DualScope DS 45-40 is a compact, very stable, and reasonably priced AFM scanner with a fixed laser and a scan area of 40 µm x 40 µm x 2,7 µm. the working distance corresponds to that of a conventional 45 mm microscope objective. The instrument works in AC mode which is optimal for most applications. The focal plane of the optics built into the scanner is permanently app. 100 µm (standby distance) below the cantilever. Thus, focussing before the scanning is not necessary. When the cantilever is in the standby distance before the scan and between scans, it is possible to move the sample without risk, and at the same time, the scanner provides a sharp optical image of the sample surface as well as of the cantilever tip. Hereby, it is possible to find an interesting location on the sample quickly and without problems.
The scanner works with standard AC mode (Non-contact mode) cantilevers, which must have a highly reflecting back side. The cantilevers are held by a magnetic mechanism and are thus very easy to change. The routine of parking the scanner, changing the cantilever, adjusting the frequency, and starting again on the first scan line will take only app. 5 to 6 minutes.
To make possible this simple cantilever change, we deliver our cantilever pre-mounted on a metal holder. If special cantilevers are to be used, naturally, we can deliver the tools for easy mounting of the cantilevers on our metal holders.

The scanners of the DualScope DS 95 series are available in a number of different variants. The DS 95-50 scanner has a standard scan range of 50 µm x 50 µm x 5 µm, and the DS 95-200 scanner has a standard scan range of 200 µm x 200 µm x 15 µm. The DS 95-50 scanner can also be delivered with a larger Z scan range of 15 µm. The AFM scanners work in AC and DC mode (contact and non-contact mode) as well as support the measurement of the lateral torsion of the cantilever (Lateral Force mode). Irrespective of the scan range, all scanners have atomic resolution in the Z direction.
In the DS95 scanners, the laser unit is moved with the scanner during scanning, i.e. the laser point will not move at the back of the cantilever during scanning. Thus disturbances in the reflection layer on the cantilever do not influence the AFM image.
All scanners have a built-in linearization sensor in order to eliminate the influence of hysteresis in the Z piezo. Thereby, large differences in the height of the sample surface will be measured correctly, even if the scanner has only been calibrated with small differences in height, and vice versa. To allow measurements also in liquids, the scanner is equipped with a rubber membrane at the bottom, protecting the electronics from moisture entering the housing. So these scanners can also work in liquids such as water or alcohol.
The built-in optics in these scanners is similar to that of a 95 mm microscope objective. In contradistinction to the DualScope DS 45-40 model, the focal plane is independent of the cantilever position and lies app. 1 mm below the scanner front. Thus it is especially easy to find a certain position on the sample surface.

General description
Nutfield Technology's QuantumScan-30 (QS-30) galvanometer scanners are used to position laser beams fast and accurately over millions of cycles. The limited rotation moving magnet motor is coupled to a highly sensitive position detector. The device is controlled through a PID based servo driver to provide amazingly fast and accurate closed loop control.
NTI's engineers are veterans of the scanning industry and have been designing galvos for two decades. They have been continuously researching ways to improve scanner performance, which has lead to several patents and patent pending designs including our exclusive ceramic rotor designs. This first of a kind rotor has exceptionally low inertia and high stiffness, which results in higher bandwidth performance. The QS-30 uses high quality bearings with tested and patent pending bearing preload designs to ensure a long lifetime of operation.
The QS-30 Position Detector was designed close to the mirror for the best possible accuracy. Further position detector refinements give the QS-30 galvanometer up to 10 times greater signal-to-noise; the highest in the industry. This means greater pointing accuracy and repeatability in your application.

The Datamax DMXScan is an affordable, rugged, and effective alternative to the high cost and complication of a traditional online or handheld bar code verifier for your H-Class or I-Class printer.
Today, it is common to affix a certain type of label to outbound customer shipments, i.e., compliance labeling. High-profile compliance label mandates are common in the automotive, retail, aerospace and defense industries, now many other industries are introducing labeling initiatives because of the cost savings that can be achieved through automated data capture. An efficient supply chain process depends on reliable bar codes. DMXScan is the perfect solution to ensure that, on every label, the bar codes are readable.
DMXScan uses fast charge-coupled device (CCD) scan engine technology to ensure that your printed bar codes are readable. As labels pass under the fixed-position head, they are scanned at a rate of up to 700 times per second. The received signals of light are then converted electrically and digitized. This captured information is compared to the appropriate internal algorithm via a 32-bit microprocessor and analyzed to ensure that the symbology has good contrast, correct bar width ratios, and sufficient quiet zone margins to be decodable.
Fully integrated, different operational modes determine the printer's action once an unreadable bar code is detected, allowing you to tailor the system to your needs. These menu-selectable fault handling options include automatic reprinting and automatic voiding of any label containing an unreadable bar code.
