VMC 4525
The MAG Fadal VMC 4525, with XYZ travels of 45"(1,143mm) x25"(635 mm) x24"(609.6mm) and 53.5" (1,359mm) x 25" (635mm) table, is a robust machine with heavy cast iron construction. Included is a high torque spindle, that reduces cycle time for heavy cutting operations including steel.
Box Way Construction
The VMC 4525 features heavy cast iron box ways, which provide large surface area contact for maximum vibration damping and rigidity. The hardened and ground box ways utilize virtually friction-free non-metallic liners on all gibs and way surfaces to ensure consistently closer tolerances for more years of heavy machining.

Wider castings increase rigidity and coupled with the box ways, Cool Power and large 40 mm diameter ball screws, enable the VMC 4525 to deliver tolerances of ±0.00016.
Positive Displacement Lubrication
Stickslip is virtually eliminated, accuracy preserved and machine life extended by positive displacement lubrication over the full length of the way surface.
Vector Drive
A leading-edge AC Vector Drive system with a high torque 22.5 HP spindle motor delivers 270 ft/lbs. of peak torque and maintains consistent torque over the full RPM range from 10-10,000 RPM with closed loop feedback.
Two Speed Spindle
The automatic two-speed spindle drive system features a mechanical, two-speed gearless system that delivers higher performance at a wider range of RPM, which results in reduced noise, heat, vibration and power loss associated with gear boxes.

The quick fixed bridge machining centre; very accurate and sturdy, it proves to be the ideal solution for the machining of small 3-5 axis batches in a pendular cycle. Designed for meeting any flexibility request, it offers wide application possibilities considering it compact size.
- Speed and accuracy -
The fixed bridge single-piece frame, the motion mechanisms appropriately sized for heavy-duty working loads, the high-performance digital axis and the electrospindle power contribute to guaranteeing high machining speeds in combination with positioning accuracy and finishing quality.
Venus can be configured with a wide range of operating units. The RX4 operating unit emphasises its work field width and the machining speeds. It can also be configured alternately with the 5-axis PX5 unit or the 3-4-axis TX3 operating unit.
The work table is available in the steel version with universal T-shaped guides and standard vacuum system, or with special universal clamping modules, for an immediate work table setting.
