MINEX®-S
- Torsionally flexible jaw-type coupling
- Axial plug-in, good dynamical features
- Failsafe, vibration reducing
- Max. torque: 70,000 Nm
- Max. bore diameter: 200 mm |
|
Precise torque limitation
- torque limitation from 0,0 bis 1.000 Nm (synchronous professional clutch)
- easy and fast adjustable to your requirements
- application possible even at extreme high rotation
- speeds
- rated torque level is independent of age and operation
- infinitely adaptable to your requirements
- unlimited number of overload cycles
- absolutely abrasion-free
- rated torque level remains constant even at frequent
- overload cycles
Superior hygiene requirements:
- no abrasion
- no working material means or external supplies
- also available in high-grade steel
Superior transmission through the application of hysteresis clutches:
- constant and soft slipping at torque limitation
- ´soft starts´- smooth starting moments
- rated torque level remains constant even at overload status
- the shafts to be connected can be operated with different rotation speed |

Overhead mounted agitator drive:
The overhead drive prevents the escape of any hazardous gases during agitation. |
|
| Using a bottom mounted agitator drive, the agitator is hermetically sealed, thus preventing any contamination of the product. |
|
Magnetic couplers are a hermetically tight solution for pumps and agitators. Dangerous or precious media stay put in the closed system circuit. The power transmission (up to 315 Nm) occurs contact-free through magnets from the drive to the shaft running in the product. Magnetic couplings are thus the logical consequence for ecologically conscious buyers in the chemical industry.

Performance Spectrum:
- The broad spectrum of the DST standard construction range covers manufacturer of centrifugal pumps, rotating piston pumps manufacturer, liquid ring pumps as well as agitators with differing torque ratings.
- Individual intermediate solutions are also available.
- Customer specific special solutions
Construction of DST permanent magnetic coupling:
- outer ring
- coupling enclosure (the cover is in Hastelloy from size 75/10)
- inner rotor completely encapsulated in 1.4571 stainless steel
- magnet material Sm2Co17 |

| The co-axial coupling consists of three parts. The outer hub consists of a series of rare earth magnets that are ground, potted and attached to the inside diameter of a steel hub. The inner hub consists of a series of rare earth magnets that are ground, potted and attached to the outside diameter of a steel rotor. The inner hub is then completely sealed in stainless steel to protect the magnets and rotor from damage or corrosive substances. Typically there is a radial air gap of up to .275" (7mm) between the inner and outer hubs. Conventional bores and keyways are used to drive the inner and outer hubs. |
