Magnetic separators of Cogelme perfectly extracts ferrous metals from inert materials and non-ferrous metals.
Are applied in commercial, recycling or industrial production, wherever ferrous metals have to be extracted from:
Plastic, Rubber, Glass, Municipal waste, RDF, Construction waste, Wee, Wood chips, Stones, Foundry sand, etc.
Due to powerful far-reaching magnetic fields of Cogelme Magnetic Separator, are achieved superior iron separation results.
Performance way:
Overbelt magnetic separator is placed crosswise or lengthwise above the conveyor tape at a fixed working distance. From flowing material iron objects are "captured" by the magnetic power and with the separator's tape carried away. When iron objects leave an area of the magnetic field they automatically drop into appropriate containers.
Magnetic separators variety are designed to best match iron recovery needs, weather material is of powder-sized or big-sized.

Drum separators are used for large flows of material and are generally positioned below the feed end of a conveyor.
Magma can produce to demand given sizes and axle configurations to allow customers to engineer the magnetic element into the production line or alternatively, can produce a self-contained unit with motor.
Large electromagnetic drums (usually from 1000mm diameter and above) are used in the mineral and mining industry.
|
|
|
Grid separators can be produced in rectangular or round form to allow their incorporation into chutes of all shapes and sizes. Separate mangetic rods can also be supplied. Magma's rods have a very high magnetic force and grids are designed to give full coverage in the spaces between the rods. These separators are used for powders, especially where the material gravitates down a chute or spout and also in liquids passing through suitable pipelines.

Magnetic Plates are cost-effective and esy to install at a variety of angles. The can be used in tandem to create a slalom against the flow of material in a closed chute. This option changes the somewhat weaker field created when suspended over a material flow to a strong separation technique involving direct contact with the material in process.
Commonly used to extract medium sized ferrous objects from granular or large particle flows. The photograph depicts a unit installed in a stone block factory using stone chip aggregate.

Magnetic Overbands or Crossbands (so-called when supplied with a traverse conveyor under the magnetic band) are a mainstay of the magnetic separation sector. They are self-cleaning by virtue of the conveyor belt which is built around the magnetic plate.
The overband is positioned (often by suspension) above the flow of material and ensures that even quite large objects are lifted from the flow. The are often used in conjunction with other separators where material is deep or dense on the conveyor.
Common industrial applications include:
Recycling , Quarrying, Wood and Paper
Electromagnetic overbands are used where the distance from the flow is greater than 300mm.

Magnetic drum TM model.
The magnetic drum TM substitutes the drive drum of the conveyor belt, separating ferric metals from any other inert , loose product. When it reaches the end of the belt, the material conveyed falls but the ferric metals are retainded by the drum, falling in a different direction to the purified material.

Polytech magnetic separators have been designed to remove ferrous and non-ferrous solid contaminants from coolants and oils. Magnetic separators can substantially reduce filter cartridge consumption and element changes when used in grinding, honing and lapping operations where filter cartridges are used. They can reduce the concentration of small fines left in the coolant by chip conveyors in broaching, milling and drilling operations that can settle in tanks and reduce tool life.
The magnetic drum is made up of alternating permanent magnets and steel discs. The magnetic field is extended by the magnetized steel discs to maximize effectiveness without resorting to more costly high strength or rare earth magnets. A comb type scraper and adjustable discharge chute optimizes sludge removal.

DEP Electromagnet Model.
An electromagnet is a device that, when supplied with electrical energy, produces an electromagnetic force capable of attracting and retaining any ferrous metal objects that enter its magnetic field. The electromagnets described here are suspended over a conveyor belt to attract any pieces of ferrous metal that pass under them mixed in with the material to be cleaned.
DRAGO ELECTRONICA electromagnet are manufactured to work uninterruptedly in the toughest weather conditions without their physical or electrical characteristics being affected.

General description
Coolant, containing ferritic perticles, is pumped into the magnetic separator where the coolant is then passed over rotating magnetic rollers. The ferritic particles then attach themselves to the rollers. As they accumulate the particles are eventually srapped off rollers and residuals coolant is allowed to drain back into the filter system. Drained particles are deposited into an optional sludge container.

Cascade magnet systems are used in situations where ferrous particles have to be removed thoroughly from large quantities of raw materials. Cascade systems are available in manual and automatic models and are strongly built with a 4 mm thick stainless steel or steel housing. Bakker Magnetics cascade systems have a wide range of uses and are easy to incorporate in existing systems. A valve box is built in to the cascade systems to remove the ferrous particles that have been collected. Once the valve box has been opened, the magnets can be turned away and the ferrous particles will then drop out of the system via the side exit. Both manual and pneumatic versions are available in all models. With the pneumatic versions, a push of a button is sufficient to remove all the ferrous particles collected in the valve box chamber. Optionally, this type can be supplied with an electrically operated valve. All the components of the pneumatic system conform to the ISO and CETOP standards. As an option, the automatic versions can be fitted with a pressure tank which enables the system to stay in service when the supply of air pressure is lost. If required, all models can be fitted with inspection windows and/or manganese steel wear plates.

We manufacture candle type magnetic separators that are compact and occupy less space keeping the tank free for maintenance. They are more suitable for cellular installations. With excellent collection efficiency they are perfect for viscous liquids. They run only on one drive and also require less power. They are suitable to handle fine ferrous dirt from large flows of coolant. Most useful in rolling, grinding, wire-drawing etc.
Working:
An endless belt of magnetic candles is dipped in dirty coolant tank such that the dirty coolant enters in the core. Coolant flows slowly over the magnetic candles leaving the ferrous dirt on the candles. The belt is indexed to pull out dirt-laden candles & rotate them at top to remove the dirt. The dirt is then transported to a bin outside the tank.

They facilitate the manual gripping of sheet metals and avoid the double catch on dépileuse.
PRODUCTIVITY AND SAFETY:
The sheet metal blanks or bands piled up tend to adhere the ones aus others, causing wastes of time during their gripping.
The separators allow them "to float". Their gripping is very easy, moreover one eliminates the risks from simultaneous sending of two blanks under the cutting tool.
PRINCIPLE:
Sheet metals are locally induced with the same polarity as the poles NR and S of the separator. The zones thus polarized of the same name, push back and cause the separation of sheet metals. The magnetic field created causes a space between the blanks. This space is increasingly important to the top of the battery cell.
When the operator takes the first blank, the second takes its place with the higher part of the separator.
|
|
Sheet separators were specially developed to permit easy and uninterrupted removal of steel sheets stacked horizontally or vertically. No more prying apart of greasy or oily sheets.
A sheet separator saves money. Sometimes compressed air is used as a sheet separator. Air is very expensive. Properly designed magnet sheet separators do the same job free from ongoing costs.
Advantages of Walker Magnetics sheet separators
Stable magnet pack
No gradual loss of magnetic power
No special precautions for storage
Stainless steel cover
Robust construction
High separating power yet compact dimensions
Large range of sizes
Very simple mounting

Bunting HF Series Permanent Drawer Magnets can handle a wide variety of separation tasks. They're built for easy installation in square, rectangular, or round spouting used in gravity conveying systems. We can supply both top and bottom spouting adapters to your specifications to reduce in-house fabrication. HF Drawers have two or more trays arranged so that the magnetic cartridges are staggered to increase contact with the product flow. Material moves in a zig-zag pattern from one cartridge tray to the next for thorough cleaning.
Standard drawer housings are constructed of heavy-duty mild steel. Stainless steel housings are also available. They're required for certain sanitary applications and whenever Rare Earth magnets are used. Stainless steel stands up to most corrosive environments, resists wear, and is the right choice when "clean room" standards must be met. Optional adapters permit easy installation of housings in most round, square, or rectangular spouting.
