As the speed of optical networks grow and as switching functions are increasingly pushed into the optical layer, demands for Dynamic Signal Control (DSC) technology become enormous. We have determined that DSC mainly includes the following technologies:
Dynamic polarization control
Dynamic power control
Dynamic timing and phase control
Dynamic dispersion control
DSC technology plays a critical role in the deployment of next-generation optical networks because of its capability of restoring the integrity of optical signals when they travel at high bit rates (over 10 Gb/s) and/or for long distances (over 300 kilometers). DSC based products can also dynamically conduct gain flattening, add/drop wavelengths and control the timing of optical transmission in order to enable all-optical networks. As of today, very few products in the DSC category are available to fulfill the needs of network growth. The OP930 supports a CW source mode. For the Return Loss measurement the laser sources are pulsed in the nanosecond region. For certain measurements a continuous modulated (CW) light signal is a required. |

The return loss is measured with the "no mandrel" method, meaning neither matching gel nor mandrel wraps are required at the far end of the cable. The insertion loss is measured by utilizing the stable transmitter of the return-loss as the source in combination with the precision optical power meter. |

The OMICRON Transformer Diagnostic System is a unique test equipment which provides automatic testing of important transformer parameters within one portable system. Applications: Winding resistance, Turns ratio and excitation current, On-load tap changer condition, Leakage reactance and Insulation condition (capacitance, tangent delta, power factor).
The test system is comprised of the CPC 100 Multifunction Primary Test System and the CP TD1 Tangent Delta unit. The patented CPC 100 is the main control unit for the test system and the CP TD1 unit is used for testing of insulation condition.

| VIDAR enables you to check the integrity of the vacuum bottle quickly and conveniently by means of the known relationship between the flashover voltage and the underpressure in the breaking chamber. The test voltage (DC) is applied to the breaker, and the result is displayed immediately. The use of DC is well proven for many years. |

Hydraulic pressure testing system that monitors and diagnoses fluid systems in a snap. Snap-Check enables machinery manufacturers to test system pressure quickly, easily, and leak-free. In the case of larger equipment, Snap-Check enables system pressure to be checked both after it is assembled at the factory and following reassembly at customer locations. The low-profile system identifies operating pressure and surges, without the need for a permanently installed gauge or transducer.

Digital Vacuum Gauge
This portable troubleshooting gauge verifies system vacuum pressures. The Cincinnati Test System digital vacuum gauge with KF16 fitting connects directly to the system vacuum fittings to measure vacuum from 1 Pa to atmosphere.
The easy-to-read display indicates pressure in one of 3 selectable engineering units.
Digital Vacuum/Pressure Gauge
Verify or calibrate the Sentinel instrument's pressure display with this easy to use Digital Vacuum/Pressure Gauge. Using the appropriate fitting, the gauge easily connects to the test port of the Sentinel instruments. The standard 4-1/2 digit LCD display with 1/2" character size in one of 9 selectable engineering units has an accuracy of 0.13% full scale.
