Multigrid is a 1/2" deep multi-purpose lightweight screen that can be used for a wide range of applications including machinery guards; fencing; dividers in factories, warehouses and cages for tools, equipment and animals. Multigrid can also be used as fully supported slip-resistant flooring where wet or slippery conditions exist. Covered grating is a long-lasting, molded fiberglass floor product that combines slip resistant floor plate and molded grating manufactured with in any of Fibergrate’s resin systems. Covered grating offers a strong, level surface for foot or cart traffic and provides approximately 30% higher stiffness than that of open mesh grating. Covered grating provides solid flooring to prevent contamination of work surfaces below, to control subsurface odors or to prevent tripping hazards for narrow heels.

Micro-Mesh access flooring system is designed as a low cost alternative where subfloor access and unobstructed air flow is required. Light weight, 2'x 2' Micro-Mesh panels are easily removed, providing ready access to electrical conduits, air supply plenums, and service lines. Micro-Mesh panels are the right choice to minimize vibration from rolling cart or wheelchair traffic. The panels with a 1/2"open area between bearing bars are ADA compliant and meet the “15 mm ball test”.

Fibergrate has developed a unique resin system that has been successfully tested to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungus that cause foul odors, discoloration, and mildew on the surface of the product that in some cases can degrade or corrode the product. FGI-AM maintains all of the qualities of Fibergrate FGI including USDA aacceptability, an ASTM flame spread index of 25 or less, superior slip resistance and excellent corrosion resistance in many applications.

Molded and pultruded gratings
Flooring, walkways and decking areas in corrosive environments need to offer superior load bearings as well as corrosion resistance. The use of good quality grade resins, including UV inhibitors and other additives together with sufficient glass fibre reinforcement result in a product which offers chemical and corrosion resistant while withstanding the required force/load.
Molded Gratings
Exel moulded grating is manufactured with continous filament strands wetted thouroughly with premium grade polyester resin. Such inherant characteristics ensure excellent corrosion resistance over a wide PH range, both acidic and caustic.
Pultruded Gratings
- Can be used where mechanical load is very high or support distances are very wide
- Panels are fabricated to drawings with minimum wastage
- Performs structurally better than moulded grating with a maximum deflection to be limited to SPAN/200 (the same limit as for steel grating)

The MEISER Finned Grating represents a special form of press grating, which is distinguished by its projected cross bars.
Finned gratings are enclosed pressure locked gratings, with crossbars which protrude above the surface of the grating. The cross bars are pressed into the notched bearing bars on center-to-center spacings of 11,1 mm, 16,65 mm and 22.2 mm.
The standard spacing between the bearing bars is 100 mm, but can be varied to suit the end users loading requirements. The length of the span ( the direction of the bearing bars) can be up to 500 mm. The gratings are designed for ”pedestrian access”.
Finned Gratings are widely used as gutter gratings or on gangways for building maintenance. Other common fields of use are swimming pools and air conditioning. Comb gratings are available in steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
