With this new developed measuring machine all kinds of gears, worms, worm gears, bevel gears, shafts and other rotational symmetrical parts can be measured. The scanning of unknown contours is possible as well. An extensive software package is available.
The technology:
The machine base consists of a massive dark granite block mounted on a steel construction. The entire system is installed on passive (or optional active) vibration absorbers. To achieve the same thermal behaviour, all axes as well as the basis are made of dark granite. Outstanding features of this system are the use of air bearing guide ways in all axis as well as on the rotary table and a special controller especially designed for the measuring technique, together with a powerful, easy to use, Windows based measuring software. The machine is equipped with a Renishaw scanning probe head.
