HIGH-INTENSITY SEPARATOR
This magnetic separator is so powerful that it can separate all paramagnetic and slightly magnetized materials from non-magnetic materials. Stainless steel that is processed through a shredder has these lightly magnetized properties and can be separated like this. This high-intensity separator is also employed for the removal of very small Fe particles from ceramic powders.

MAGNETIC FILTERS
Goudsmit magnetic filters are able to remove ferrous particles of only 30 microns in size from fluids and powders transported under pressure. The filters have a wide range of applications like the foodstuffs- pharma-, and ceramic industry, but the principle is always the same. The powderful Neoflux® magnetic bars penetrate deep into the product so that they retain even the smallest ferrous particles. The bars can be removed from the product flow for cleaning by lifting the lid. Various test have confirmed that the powerful GSN 50 magnet can also catch stainless steel scrapings. These particles are so small that they would even escape a metal detector.

The Meech Model 958 Sheet Separator system has been designed to allow efficient operation of automatic sheet feeders by eliminating static charges and separating the sheets with a controlled blade of ionised air. The Model 958 system comprises one or more full flow Meech ionising air curtains on adjustable brackets, which are mounted on the cross rod of the feeder. The Model 957 air curtains incorporate Model 910 static elimination bars, which are driven by a Model 904 power supply (refer also to Models 904, 910 and 957 data sheets). The air supply should be equipped with a pressure regulator and 5 micron filter.

A tube magnet is constructed of cylindrical permanent magnets contained within a stainless steel tube. The magnetic elements can be ferrite or ‘Rare Earth’. Rare Earth magnets develop very high magnetic field strengths and gradients enabling the extraction of the very smallest particle of iron or rust. Tube Magnets are very versatile and suitable for use with either dry or wet materials. A Tube Magnet can be used singly for quality control purposes or in multiples within a process, or built into magnetic traps for liquid lines or into grates for dry processes.

A simple and efficient system for clarification of small flows of emulsions, synthetic solutions or low viscosity oils, contaminated with ferric particles, which are retained on the surface of a magnetic drum.
They are used when the clarification requirement are not very strict, and also as a preclarifier for band or precoat filters.

TYPE MBP BAND FILTERS

They are used in cases in which the production of ferric sludge is high, in order to reduce the consumption of filter band. The dirty liquid first passes through the magnetic separator and, once it has been clarified, it flows into the band filter, with low content of contaminating particles.

Magnetic drum TM model.
The magnetic drum TM substitutes the drive drum of the conveyor belt, separating ferric metals from any other inert , loose product. When it reaches the end of the belt, the material conveyed falls but the ferric metals are retainded by the drum, falling in a different direction to the purified material.

Overband with permanent magnet OPL model.
These unit consist of either a permanent magnet PL or an electrical magnet DEP, depending on the required output, located above a conveyor belt. Any pieces of iron, or other magnetic metals, that pass under the magnet, mixed with the material being conveyed, will be attracted and retained by the magnet, thus separating them from the material they were mixed with, given that the separator is surrounded by a conveyor belt, with dimensions that are suitable for the separator unit, the purpose of which is to remove all of the pieces of iron that have been captured, letting them fall at a determined point.
