LEICA ABSOLUTE TRACKER
We have built up a rock-solid reputation for designing and manufacturing absolutely reliable, robust laser trackers that find application in the most demanding environments, from factory shop floors to metrology labs. At first there was the SMART series, then the LTD500 generation, followed by the LTD700/800, and in 2005 we gave you the LTD640/706/709/840 family. In 2008, we are welcoming the Absolute Tracker.
At about 22 kg [48 lbs] and 62 cm [2 ft], the Leica Absolute Tracker enables easy one-person operation. A quick release mechanism securely locks the sensor onto the sturdy, heavy-duty tripod. You get the no-compromise stability that’s paramount for accurate measurements. Better still, the entire setup can be transported in the trunk of an average station wagon.
The Leica Absolute Tracker, just like its earlier Leica Geosystems brethren, relies on a technically sophisticated yet surprisingly maintenance-free internal design that allows it to run hour after hour, day after day, month after month without the need for any compensation whatsoever.
Depending on your measuremet needs, there are three Leica Absolute Tracker types available:
Leica Absolute Tracker AT901-Basic
Leica Absolute Tracker AT901-Mid Range
Leica Absolute Tracker AT901-Long Range |

Since 1979, over four thousand LMI/Selcom ™ laser and vision sensors have provided the transportation industry with a reliable, safe and efficient way to collect critical information. In the case of road inspection, a number of laser sensors are typically mounted on a survey vehicle and driven over the road surface at highway speeds, so as not to disrupt traffic. Automated measurements of road conditions are a cost effective, reliable, accurate and safe method of collecting road conditions data as opposed to manual methods.
Our Transportation applications division works closely with System Integrators & Original Equipment Machine Suppliers to deliver the most effective solutions for their particular sensor vision needs.

Leica ScanStation 2
A new Level of Versatility and Speed in Laser Scanners
With a 10-times boost in maximum instantaneous scan speed and the full freedom and accuracy of a total station, Leica ScanStation 2 lifts laser scanning to the next level. This speed and productivity boost builds on the already industry-leading versatility of the ScanStation™ class of laser scanner to make High-Definition Surveying™ (HDS™) profitable for even more as-built and topographic survey projects.
For many as-built and topographic surveys, laser scanners have already proven to significantly reduce field labor compared to traditional methods. ScanStation 2's jump-step increase in pulsed scan speed further slashes these costs - field labor is now as little as one-fifth of that of traditional methods for many projects.
Infrastructure
ScanStation 2 extends the benefits of safe, cost-effective road surveys from urban and multi-lane roads & intersections to 2-lane roads & intersections.
Sites
Using ScanStation 2 for topographic surveys of small sites and sites up to hundreds of acres cuts initial survey costs and reduces site re-visits.
Buildings
Small buildings and tall buildings can be cost-effectively surveyed, both inside and out. Digital photos can be overlaid for added realism. |

Leica T-Scan TS50 is a high-speed hand scanner for large-volume portable applications. This second-generation Leica T-Scan is 20 percent lighter and 30 percent smaller than the original Leica T-Scan introduced in 2005.
Leica T-Scan requires neither photogrammetric targets nor powdering of object surfaces and is impervious to changing environmental light. Because the laser beam consists of individual dots, their intensity can be adjusted on the fly so surfaces of different reflective properties, from shiny to black, can be scanned in one step with no action required from the operator. Leica T-Scan scans large objects more accurately and 50 percent faster than comparable products.
Generating point-cloud data means nothing if your software is bogged down with processing millions of data points. We have focused as much attention on the development of T-Scan collect software as we did to the hardware. Point-cloud data is immediately usable for real-time on-screen analysis to analyze discrepancies by overlaying the actual scanned data over CAD data, or for reverse-engineering applications using software packages such as PolyWorks V10. |

XD Laser™
API´s XD6™ is the only laser to auto-matically provide "roll" measurement around an axis along with linearity, X & Y straightness, pitch and yaw measurements. Simultaneous measurements produce a true picture of all axis errors not possible with single parameter systems.
Even quicker measurement times
Complete measurement of all 21 error parameters teamed with API´s exclusive Volumetric Error Compensation package enables users to dramatically reduce bad parts and prolong the useful life of their machining centers. Measurements can be accomplished in just a few hours instead of days (compared to conventional systems).
XD Laser™: An overview of your advantages:
Two classes of accuracy classes (Standard and precision model) available
Totally configurable: 1, 3, 5 and 6 degrees of freedom
Completely cable-free; wireless data transfer to remote computers
Modular weather station with 5 material temperature sensors, optional humidity sensor
Ultra precise: The highest accuracy laser system
Ideal for highest-accuracy-scenarios, the XD Laser™ system is frequently used for the correction and calibration of CMMs. The highly accurate XD system can simultaneously acquire up to six degrees of freedom using special technology for higher stability of the laser beam.
