The Scimitar range has been built to meet stringent requirements and is corrosion resistant for durable outdoor and indoor use.
The switches are contained within a common stainless steel SF6 filled tank with the fuses mounted in air above the gas chamber. Each fuse is sealed against external influences and locked into its own chamber upon insertion. The units can be extensible for direct connection to form multiple plan switchboards without the need to access the gas chambers or for extra cabling.
Features
Ratings up to 15.5kV
Common switching chamber with sealed SF6 environment
Low gas operating pressure
Fully extensible
Indoor and outdoor
Freestanding, transformer mounted or transformer connected |

| Viking in-line gear reducers offer reduction ratios from 2.6:1 to 35.1:1, with the ability to handle loads up to 260 kW. Solid input shaft or close-coupled input side adapters for IEC or NEMA motors offer mounting versatility. A second series of offset gear reducers, with ratios from 2.24:1 to 7.95:1, allows rotation of the input shaft to match motor height for easy mounting, while maintaining output shaft height. They are capable of loads to 30 kW. |
|
| The Sumitomo Helical Shaft Mount (HSM) Speed Reducer provides a convenient installation and removal method for speed reduction by mounting directly on the drive shaft.
