The ALDH is the rougher of choice when optimum
material removal rates are the objective. The combination
of progressive geometries result in a cutting tool intended
for full engagement cuts at increased feed rates.
Slotting cuts of 1x the diameter or more are normally
recommended. 50% greater IPM vs. competitors 2 flute
design is a conservative starting point.

High Performance End Mills from SGS Tool for tough Mold and Die applications. A wide range of sizes and uses.
|
|
|
The DM-BN series (Die Mold Ball Nose) was designed for our customers who perform hard milling operations. Advanced geometry, premium substrate, and a heat activated, tool life enhancing coating make up the formula for this tool that is capable of milling high Rockwell material.
|
|
Another expansion to our field proven, double helix family,
the ALDH-C series combines the performance of the
ALDH series with a truncated knuckle form. It is designed
for freer cutting without sacrificing work piece surface
finishes. This unique O.D. form also aids in chip control
and management in gummy, non-ferrous materials. The
tools are available from stock in stub and standard lengths
with coatings to match your particular applications.

A further expansion to our double helix family is the SSDH-C series. We’ve combined the aggressive roughing geometries of the SSDH series with a truncated knuckle O.D. form. This unique design allows for freer cutting and better chip control while maintaining the work piece surface finishes. These tools are stocked in stub and regular lengths and coated to match your particular application.

SERF (Sinusoidal Edge Rougher Finisher) design provides the benefits of a roughing mill with the edge quality of a finishing mill in a Polycrystalline Diamond double-flute tool on solid-carbide body.
The unique SERF geometry results in reduced impact forces during the cut resulting in longer tool life, less cutting force, greater feed rates and reduced noise.
Edge finish in fibrous composite materials is improved due to the overlapping sinusoidal edge pattern which is designed to impart a fiber shearing action during the cut.
Usage: Carbon Fiber, G-10 and other Fiberglass

The CoroMill 390 endmill offers precision performance in a class of its own. In many ways, the CoroMill 390 is the first high-precision indexable endmill. Playing in the same league as solid endmills.
The CoroMill 390 produces mirror finish surfaces and true 90° shoulders. Noise and vibration are reduced to a very low level.

HAM offers a large range of standard tools for multiple cutting tasks for the industrial consumer. Our variety of products covers end-mills with a special cutting geometry for Aluminium as well as end-mills for hardened material, which gradually reduce the need for electrical discharging processes in mould and die industry. With HAM´s standard tools it is possible to machine hardened steel up to 63 HRC without problems and economically. We have also developed a special line of tools designed for use of minimum lubrication or dry machining.
HAM is permanently trying to improve the quality of the carbides in close cooperation with its suppliers. Our engineers test and retest the coatings of the tools in our technology centre in order to achieve the best suitable solution.
To be recognized as a system supplier that serves complete solutions, HAM has enlarged its product range with brazed and indexable tools. These products are offered as standards or as specials tools according to customer drawing.

Solid carbide end milling for high efficiency machining for aluminium alloys.
Mitsubishi’s range of solid carbide end mills includes the Alimaster series, designed specifically for high efficiency milling of aluminium alloys.
Development of the range has progressed by using and optimising the micro grain carbide substrate together with the latest ideas in flute and cutting edge geometry. This ideal combination has been proven over time and has enabled Alimaster to gain an advantage in today’s ultra competitive aerospace market.
The full range includes long and short series end mills for slotting and general milling, 3 flute roughing types available in various flute lengths and a ball nose type to ensure a huge range of applications are covered. The newest addition to the series includes a 2 flute corner radius type Ø3 –Ø20.
In addition to the regular series, modified standard cutters can be re-engineered for customer specific uses. Typical examples include through coolant and corner radii that match typical components such as wing ribs.

For heavy-duty applications in shipyards, foundries and steel construction, PFERD has developed two new special cut patterns for its tungsten carbide burs. The new 3R/Double and 3RS/Diamond cuts represent a new PFERD product line designed especially for tough operating conditions.
These tungsten carbide burs are characterized by their exceptional impact resistance and performance. The new cuts are ideal for all uses involving high mechanical shock or impact loads. Susceptibility to tooth chipping/breakage, splintering and bur head cracking has been effectively minimized. Even when milling at low RPM with an only moderately powerful machine, the occurrence of tooth failures is markedly reduced.
Like all other PFERD quality burs, our 3R and 3RS cut types distinguish themselves by their perfectly matched tooth geometry, number of teeth, helix angle, rake angle, and concentricity. Thanks to a very high stock removal capability over the entire service life, these tools deliver outstanding results in minimum time.
The new 3R and 3RS cuts are the latest addition to the existing PFERD range. They are not intended as substitutes for our proven standard cuts for general-use burs.
