The gearing transmissions are pre-arranged for the fitting of the electric motor in a vertical position. Developed and designed according to the state-of-the-art technology, they meet all requirements on power transmission of battery-driven industrial trucks. This type of transmissions need low maintenance and servicing since the assembly and disassembly of the parts (i.e. electric motor) happens without having to remove any transmission parts and accessories. Oil bath lubrication.

The radial piston design ensures very high starting torque efficiencies, especially at high pressures where they are most required in mobile applications. Efficiency is typically > 94% at 400 bar.
The maximum torque requirement for wheel motor applications generally occurs with the vehicle al standstill or at low speeds, for example, during acceleration from stand-still or when overcoming an obstacle or slope.
High starting torque in the hydraulic motors therefore means better vehicle performance, less energy wastage and heat generation, especially with frequent stop-start work cycles.

Description
This wheel motor is the latest addition to the Char Lynn product line. The Delta motor provides torques up to 11,500 in-lbs. Eaton has packed this motor with many "best in class" features: the optimized geroler profile ensures smooth operation; the disc valve technology has the best performance and the bearing capacity is the highest in the industry for very demanding applications.

DL series meets the toughest environmental demands, such as the new European emission standard, 3A. The GL series is powered by the Nissan world leading K-model engine. Its advanced control system ensures the best possible fuel/air
mixture, which guarantees low fuel consumption and low emission levels. This is a system that automatically ensures that the engine receives the optimal fuel/air mixture depending on how hard it is working. This usually expensive option is standard in the GL series.
Eco-driving: All LPG trucks in the GL series are delivered with Eco-driving
as standard. A simple press of a button reduces both noise levels and gas consumption. A speed control is also available as an option, enabling
the maximum speed to be set at a level compatible with the operator’s ability.
