ADVANCED DRIVING... with our new Heavy Duty Driven Linear System
High loads, demanding duty cycles, hostile operating conditions and ease of installation are the criteria around which Hepco's new Heavy Duty Driven Linear System (HDLS) was designed.
The distinct operating benefits which its features provide over conventional re-circulating systems are certainly accentuated by arduous application. Overhead gantries and steel beam drilling machines are typical examples of where our HDLS system excels.
Now this versatile family of Heavy Duty components has been extended to include a new driven option, the Heavy Duty Driven Linear System. This complements the rack and pinion drive option already available. The new addition is a belt-driven system with two bearing options - 64mm diameter for high load applications and 95mm for loads up to 40kN.
High and super high loads
So what does it comprise? The base unit incorporates single edge commercial 'V' slides mounted onto the beam with the slides positioned at the outer beam edges. Between the two slides is a continuous 50mm wide AT20 belt, firmly attached to the moving carriage. And if the application is really tough, a 75mm wide belt can be specified.

The linear module POWER-LINE MLT500 consist in self-supporting modules which enable a very easy and quick installation with low costs.
They are made of solid light alloy profile with four-rows linear guideways.
The movement is activated through hardened steel made rack and pinion: high positioning precision and safe displacement of the trolley are ensured.
Replaceable oil cartridges on the guideways (optionals) allow long lasting and low maintenance.
Few standard accessories enable quick connections with the columns, the gearmotor and the grippers, avoiding additional mechanical operations.

Independently strong – unbeatable in a team
Without doubt the cylinder is the heart of every Ratio-Drive® system solution. Every user can call on its application as a single cylinder or as several cylinders within a self-contained circuit. In order to be capable of presenting an individual solution in the form of a system, the cylinder requires reliable ”system partners”, as only the practical combination of cylinder, components and mechatronic services can provide an individual and simultaneously effective solution. This includes the mechatronics (every Hänchen cylinder with integrated linear positioning system is a part of a Ratio-Drive® system solution), electronics, the corresponding valves, the control unit and power supply.

These units are primarily for lifting or lowering Masses in both Vertical & Horizontal planes. The weight to be lifted is from 250 kg (0.25 Tons) to 150000 kgs. (50 Tons through various Frames of 0.25 T / 0.5T / 2 T / 2.5T / 5T / 10T /20T / 35T / 50T / 100T / 150T (T indicates Tonnage). These units give positive mechanical action, fail proof & Precise Positioning. The Height to be lifted (or) lowered can be upto 3000 MM.
There are two standard speeds available viz., Normal lift & Slow lift. Housing / Shell is made of Nodular (SG Iron) Casting from 2 Ton to 150 Tons. For 0.5 Ton & 1 Ton Models we use Aluminum shells & covers
