Single row cylindrical roller bearings with cage are units comprising solid inner and outer rings together with cylindrical roller and cage assemblies. The outer rings have rigid ribs on both sides or are without ribs, the inner rings have one or two rigid ribs or are designed without ribs. The cage prevents the cylindrical rollers coming into contact with each other during rolling.
The cylindrical roller bearings are very rigid, can support high radial loads and, due to the cage, are suitable for higher speeds than the full complement designs. Bearings with suffix E have a larger roller set and are thus designed for extremely high load carrying capacity.
The bearings can be taken apart and can therefore be fitted and dismantled more easily. Both bearing rings can therefore have an interference fit.
Single row cylindrical roller bearings with cage are available as non-locating, semi-locating and locating bearings.

Timken manufactures nearly 26,000 bearing combinations with sizes ranging from a 0.3125-inch (8 mm) bore to an 87.5-inch (2222.5 mm) outside diameter. We offer the most extensive line of tapered roller bearings available anywhere in the world.
Tapered roller bearings consist of four interdependent components: the cone, or inner ring; the cup, or outer ring; the tapered rollers, or rolling elements; and the cage, or roller retainer. The taper angles allow the bearing to handle a combination of radial and thrust loads. The steeper the cup angle, the greater the ability of the bearing to handle thrust loads. |
|
| IKO Crossed Roller Bearings are compact bearings with their rollers alternately crossed at right angles to each other between inner and outer rings. They can take loads from any directions at the same time such as radial, thrust and moment loads. The rollers make line-contact with raceway surfaces, and , therefore, elastic deformation due to bearing loads is very small. These bearings are widely used in the rotating parts of industrial robots, machine tools, medical equipment, etc., which require compactness, high rigidity and high rotational accuracy. In addition, bearings made of stainless steel or those with inner and outer rings provided with mounting holes are also available on request. |

NSK manufactures a complete range of cylindrical roller bearings. Both metric and inch sizes are available in bore sizes ranging from 1/2" to 1320 mm.
By virtue of the line contact between rolling elements and raceways, cylindrical roller bearings have high radial load capacity and are suited to high speed applications.
There are several designs, designated NU, NJ, NUP, N or NF for single row bearings and NNU or NN for double row types. In each case, the designation defines the bearing ring rib configuration.
For single row bearings NU and N types the inner and outer rings can move axially, in both directions, relative to one another. These are suited to use as ‘free-end’ bearings.
The other configurations are capable of sustaining axial loads. Double row bearings are used primarily in machine tool applications having high radial rigidity. Both NNU and NN configurations are ‘free-end’ types.
Pressed steel, machined brass and polyamide cages are available. Single row extra capacity designs can also be supplied.
For the steel industry NSK manufactures a range of four-row cylindrical roller bearings. These are primarily designed for use as steel mill roll-neck bearings.

Axial spherical roller bearings are single row, self-aligning roller bearings. They comprise solid shaft and housing washers and asymmetrical barrel rollers with cages. The cage holds the roller and cage assembly together with the shaft locating washer. The bearings can be dismantled. The parts of the bearings can be fitted separately.
Axial spherical roller bearings can support very high axial loads and permit relatively high speeds. Since the raceways are at an angle to the bearing axis, the bearings can also support radial loads. |

NSK manufactures a wide range of metric and inch size tapered roller bearings. These bearings comprise of a loose outer ring cup and an inner ring cone assembly with rollers and retaining cage.
These bearings are capable of taking high radial loads and axial loads in one direction. In addition, the HR series incorporates rollers of increased size and number giving higher load capacity.
Tapered roller bearings are generally mounted in pairs with the proper internal clearance being obtained by adjustment of the axial distance between the cups or cones of the two bearings. As well as single row tapered roller bearings, 2 and 4 row versions are available from NSK to support axial loads in either direction.
NSK tapered roller bearings are normally supplied in through hardened high carbon chromium steel. Alternatively, NSK can supply these bearings case hardened or, for more arduous conditions, in a range of advanced patented materials including High-TF and Super-TF. Please contact NSK for more details.

| Tapered roller bearings comprise solid inner and outer rings with tapered raceways and tapered rollers with cages. The bearings are not self-retaining. As a result, the inner ring together with the rollers and cage can be fitted separately from the outer ring. Tapered roller bearings can support axial loads from one direction as well as high radial loads. They must normally be axially adjusted against a second bearing fitted in a mirror image arrangement. |

high rigidity
Both inner and outer rings have a solid one-piece construction. Therefore, high accuracy and high rigidity are achieved, and mounting errors can be minimized. As separators are incorporated between the rollers for smooth rotation, these bearings are suitable for applications where rotational speed is comparatively high.

Cylindrical roller bearings
Feature
Cylindrical rollers have linear contact with the raceway, and the bearings can carry heavier radial load. Applications are found in situations characterized by heavy load and shock load and also high rotation speed. The N type and NU type bearings can be movable along the shaft. They can adapt to the position changes between the shaft and housing caused by the thermal expansion or the mounting error and are most suitable for free end shafts. NJ and NF types can accept certain axial load in one direction, and NH and NUP types can accept certain axial load in two directions. Inner ring and outer ring can be separable, and be they are convenient to mount and dismount. FC, FCD and FCDP types can carry comparatively heavy radial load and are mainly applied for mill rolls.
Applications
These bearings are mostly found in middle-sized and large-sized motors, electricity generators, internal combustion engines, gas turbines, machine tool spindles, deceleration devices, unloading and lifting machines and other industrial machines. |

RBC produces an extensive heavy duty needle roller bearing product line from 1 inch outer ring diameter to 12 ¼ inch outer ring diameter. RBC has the capability to manufacture special designs up to a 39 inch outer diameter.
The RBC SJ series of Pitchlign® heavy duty needle roller bearings are supplied in standard envelopes in both sealed and unsealed configurations. There are eight possible seal configurations. The seals can include double or single seal with the seal lip turned inward or outward. The seal can be mounted in the radius end of the ring or the chamfered end of the ring for optimum mounting variations.
RBC%u2019s patented TJ TandemRoller® heavy duty needle roller bearings increase the capacity of the standard Pitchlign® SJ series from 10% to 40% while maintaining the standard SJ envelope dimensions. Spherical roller bearings are bearings for highest loads and contain two rows of symmetric barrel-shaped rollers which adjust automatically without force in the hollow-ball outer raceway.
Based on this design, shaft deflections and alignment errors can be compensated.
Spherical roller bearings are provided with the maximum number of rollers with highest diameter and high length.
Uniform stress distribution and high load-carrying capacities are archieved by the close osculation between rollers and raceways.
The standard designs of SLF spherical roller bearings are E designs, thus E will not be written separately.
Spherical roller bearings are provided with cylindrical and conical bores. In addition, they are provided with an lubrication ring groove and lubrication bores at the outer race without any additional identification being made. |
