Beswick Engineering announces the release of a micro needle valve with M3 threaded inlet and hose barb outlet. The new M3 threaded needle valve is designed and manufactured for applications where space, leak-tightness, durability, and light weight are required. It can be used to control mini-cylinders, nozzles, timing circuits, filling heads, bleed vents, and in many other metering applications. It weighs just 2.26 grams and the installed height is about 10.4 mm. The needle valve allows precise flow adjustment. The adjusted flow remains stable even during temperature fluctuations as the needle and valve seat are both manufactured from stainless steel. The valve body swivels 360 degrees to facilitate installation and orientation. The needle valve body is designed with “built-in-barbs” which saves space and reduces cost of connections and assembly time. The valve controls flows from 0 to 1 SCFM at 50 psig. The metal to metal seal provides positive shut-off to 25 in Hg. Applications include: hydrogen fuel cells, medical and dental equipment, instruments, laboratory equipment, ink jet print engines, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, toxic gas detectors, aerospace equipment, packaging machinery, industrial robots and many more.

The F-2822 Series Needle Valves are ideal for instrumentation and industrial applications. The fine angle of the needle allows for the precise control of flow, which is restricted in both directions. The Needle Valves are adjustable from 0 to the equivalent flow of a 0.025” orifice and can be provided for inline installation or panel mounting.
Two models are available: The standard glass filled nylon model is available with straight ports for 1/16” I.D. tubing or barbs for 1/16” and 1/8” I.D. tubing. The glass-filled polypropylene model is beneficial for those applications where chemical resistance is a concern.
Both models can be supplied with a nickel-plated brass or stainless steel needle. The needles are available with a screwdriver slot adjustment or knurled knob. Buna-N, Viton, or Ethylene Propylene o’rings are available.

KOFLOC 2204
The KOFLOC Variable Primary Pressure Flow Controller MODEL 2204 SERIES is a control valve for precise control of minute gas flow and maintaining constant flow under fluctuating primary pressure (inlet), provided the secondary (outlet) pressure remains constant. This characteristic makes it a must-have preliminary valve in many flow control mechanisms. Constructed using high precision parts, the design of the MODEL 2204 SERIES transforms the rotation of the regulating screw to into linear motion of the needle without subjecting it to gaps and vibrations produced by the screw, to ensure stable and even control of minute flow.
FEATURES
♦ Excellent flow stabilization
♦ Clean construction
♦ Independent from supply pressure fluctuations
APPLICATIONS
♦ Scientific instruments
♦ Environmental analysis
♦ Atomic absorption spectrometry
♦ Gas chromatography
♦ R&D
♦ General industrial use

Pin valves
This pin valve is the evolution of article 009, one of the first articles projected and constructed by Ratti.
It immediately differentiates from other valves on the market due to the fact that there is no packing between the body, the valve and the support of the stem.
This solution, introduced over 30 years ago, has allowed us to guarantee a longer life of the valve, in fact the lack of an elastometer in such a critical position, and the realization of a metallic support, provides the valve with greater reliability in terms of tightness.
The only packing present in these valves is the PTFE compass, positioned on the top to support the stem.
The external part of the valve body has been completely re-designed from a "square" shape to a more "round" shape, in order to eliminate the external edges, thus reaching a better shape and making the constructive process more efficient, reliable and economical.
The valve is filed from a full sturdy 316L full bar of European certified make.
In the "053" version the connections are gas cylinder female die screw-cut and the diameters available are as follows: 1/4", 3/8",1/2",3/4", and 1".
In the "049" version the connections are of 3/4", 1", 1.1/2" and 2" "Tri-Clamp" type and the gauges are the same of the diaphragm valve (Art. 061) to favour interchangeability without modifying the plant.
Upon request, Articles 053 and 049 may be furnished with fastenings to be welded.

'PRIME' Needle valves are made for various operating pressure and temperatures. Looking at ever increasing demand and variety of applications, we have developed special purpose valves for instrumentation and flow control application.
DESIGN: Needle valves are also known as isolation valve, shut off valve or regulatory valve. Rotating angle tipped spindle, which in turn moves axially over the orifice seat, controls flow of the fluid. At the lower most position or closed position of the spindle, inlet orifice is completely blocked and thus isolates the fluid flow. In open condition Teflon or Grafoil packing seal restricts the leakage from the bonnet end.

Hayward Needle Valves are used for accurate metering of fluids. Turning the thumbwheel moves a tapered piston into the PTFE seat to control the flow down to a few drops per minute. Precision molded, fine pitched stem threads permit this very fine metering flow control.

The NV-30 series is a precision adjustable flow control used in pneumatic and fluidic systems. Nickel plated brass construction provides excellent corrosion resistance, and a clean and bright appearance. Flow control needle has 7 to 8 turns of precision adjustment, and maximum flow approximately equal to a 0.025" orifice. Unique laminar flow design ensures sensitive, repeatable control. Perfect for use in application requiring precision gas metering, and circuit speed or sequencing control.

Gate Valves and Needle Valves
Speed and flow can be regulated by a sf gate valve (aside from any dependence on pressure differences or viscosity). This is carried out by means of the coned seal which can be raised or lowered by the spindle. The further the spindle is raised, the greater the passage and hence the flow.
