2/2-way Angle Seat Valves DN 8-80
The Angle Seat Valve is composed of a 2/2 way Angle Seat valve body and a pneumatically operated piston actuator, which is mounted with a stainless steel adaption to the valve body. Depending on the size, the actuators are made out of plastic or aluminium. The plastic actuators are made out of a high temperature resistant plastic. A self-adjusting gland assures reliable tightness. The gland is protected against dust and damage by a wiper, which is located in front of the gland.
The SED Angle Seat Valve is suitable to separate, pilot, dose and control liquid orgaseous media. The Angle Seat Valve can be designed to specific requirements. In applications for control engineering optimized flow characteristics are achieved by reduced cv-values and equal percentage or linear characteristic curves. Even simple solutions like noise reduction are possible.

Hydratron can supply from stock a wide range of high pressure needle valves suitable for working at pressures of up to 100,000 PSI (7,000 Bar )
They are available with NPT ( 10,000 PSI ), Medium Pressure ( 20,000 PSI ) and High Pressure ( 60,000 PSI ) connections to suit 1/4", 3/8", 9/16", 3/4" and 1" OD tubing.
The valves are manufactured with wetted parts manufactured from 316 SS as standard but can be supplied with wetted parts manufactured from other exotic materials such as Hastelloy or inconel if required.

Beswick Engineering announces the release of a micro needle valve with M3 threaded inlet and hose barb outlet. The new M3 threaded needle valve is designed and manufactured for applications where space, leak-tightness, durability, and light weight are required. It can be used to control mini-cylinders, nozzles, timing circuits, filling heads, bleed vents, and in many other metering applications. It weighs just 2.26 grams and the installed height is about 10.4 mm. The needle valve allows precise flow adjustment. The F-2822 Series Needle Valves are ideal for instrumentation and industrial applications. The fine angle of the needle allows for the precise control of flow, which is restricted in both directions. The Needle Valves are adjustable from 0 to the equivalent flow of a 0.025” orifice and can be provided for inline installation or panel mounting.
Two models are available: The standard glass filled nylon model is available with straight ports for 1/16” I.D. tubing or barbs for 1/16” and 1/8” I.D. tubing. The glass-filled polypropylene model is beneficial for those applications where chemical resistance is a concern.
Both models can be supplied with a nickel-plated brass or stainless steel needle. The needles are available with a screwdriver slot adjustment or knurled knob. Buna-N, Viton, or Ethylene Propylene o’rings are available.

This type of valve is actuated by pressure acting on a piston or diaphragm. The fluid is usually neutral e.g. air, water, hydraulic oil. The pressure range varies and is specified accordingly in a data table.
"Normally Closed" (N/C) valves of this type remain closed under spring pressure, when de-activated.
"Normally Open" (N/O) valves of this type remain open under spring pressure, when de-activated.
When pressure is connected to port "Z" the valves open or close according to type.
A separate 3/2 pilot valve is used to supply pressure to port "Z", it is mounted either directly on the actuator or remotely.
In some cases a 4/2 or 5/2 pilot valve will be required. The main valve position can be N/C or N/O. The basic position is determined by connecting the pilot valve output lines accordingly. (The direction of flow is usually indicated by an arrow or shown schematically on the body).

A Y-Globe valve is an in line valve that is typically used to isolate or control medium flow.
Y Globe valves offer the perfect balance between flow and sealing requirements. The flow control characteristics are much better than a globe valve, while the zero leakage sealing performance far excel that of a ball valve.

OPERATION:
Valve opens when energized and closes when de-energized. When the coil is energized the pilot valve opens, relieving the pressure above the piston, which is then lifted from its seat by the plunger. Upon de-energizing the coil, a spring closes the pilot valve and opens a bleed passageway to permit pressure to build above the piston and seat it.

OPERATION:

When the coil is energized the plunger presses the poppet, closing the pilot orifice, and opens a bleed passageway to permit pressure to build above the piston and seal it. Upon de-energizing the coil, the pilot orifice is opened, relieving the pressure above the piston allowing it to leave its seat. The bottom spring allows the valve to operate at zero pressure drop.
